Re: The athletics/running thread

Given this thread hasn’t been posted on in a month and from what I know about some of you, I think it’s fair to say for the majority of TW members we’ve all fallen a bit off the running wagon this year due to injury/old age in your cases ;) and just can’t be arsed in mine!? (obvious exceptio...

Oh cheers. 'Wanderers (and Doncaster) charged with failing to control their players by the FA'.

So that'll be a fine in the offing. Great.

Possibly a suspension for Santos too, after he grabbed their lad by the throat. It never rains, but it pours!

Re: Diving Arsenal Players - The Least Shocking Admission Ever

Went to tonight’s Arsenal game against Leeds. Carabou cup and tickets super cheap so we moved away from our usual area and sat more on the half way line. Halfway through the first half my daughter turns around to me and says “I think I’d better sit back in the family enclosure next game, I’ve heard...

A deliberately short and slow return after 5 weeks off. Not injured, just lazy as feck. 🙄 3k with splits of 6:01/6:02/5:59. Have to be pleased with the consistency if nowt else. Onwards and upwards! No doubt I’ll see you all back in here in another 5 weeks. 😉

Re: The athletics/running thread

I haven’t run since 15th September, which was a complete shit show in itself. Zero motivation for months now. Any tips on getting the old mojo back? Run with a friend. I can’t get out on my own right now. Have to make plans to meet someone. Still got zero mojo or enthusiasm but look forward to a ca...

Re: Plymouth match

What a fecking comedy of errors. Even allowing for the conditions that was embarrassing! We’ve spent the last 10 mins kicking the ball along the ground on a waterlogged pitch ffs!

My mate just text me to say it's wet and misty but not cold. Is Harry the one you all mock for being a fair weather runner :D ?? That's BP. He's so fair weather, he makes me look like Ernest Shackleton! Spent the day in Salcombe, where it's been mild and dry. Just come back into Plymouth. It's stil...

Re: Oh Mein Papa...Home V Liverpool under 21's,, 7-0 clock Tues 05-10-21

I cant decide whether to go to this or not. On the one hand i want to support the club and the team and keep my run of attendances going. On the other, the whole B team and pandering to the big clubs that this competition has become, makes me think it can get to feck. Like BP and his running, I'll ...

Re: What are you playing tonight?

Not normally a fan of Korean boy bands if I’m honest, but I really like the BTS collab with Coldplay. ‘Universe’. Very catchy! Bloody hell. Not you as well! I constantly hear her say, ‘Alexa, play BTS…..’ 🥱 For the record, I can’t stand Chris Martin either! I had to google who they were when I saw ...
