Re: Happy Sunday - happier times at Wembley

Great memories, although the entire day was a blur due to excesses of alcohol, particularly in Kilburn pre match. I remember very little about the game, just lots of early morning drinking round Trafalgar Square where an offy kindly decided to open up for us at 7am. However I did make it to the matc...

Re: The BWSA

This thread, more than any other, completely illustrates a major problem that BWFC has with it's supporters. A BWFC approved club, which for an annual subscription can offer social evenings and question and answer sessions with the players and management comes on an independent forum in an effort to...

Budget is under £35 per month - can anyone recommend a good phone then or what? Criteria - Don't want to be an iphone wanker Samsung Galaxy Ace is fab. Looks like an iphone tho...

Re: Starstruck?

I met Chris Moyles in Ibiza a few years ago. He was a really nice guy. No, of course he wasn't. He was an obnoxious, overbearing slob . I met Moyles at Malmaison Hotel in Leeds about 3 years and he was exactly that. His "entourage" were hanging on his every word as they downed bottle after bottle o...

I think I remember Murphys Mob. Was it about some football team that was filmed at Watford?

Conference Play Off Final

This weekend, AFC Wimbledon v Luton Town.

It would be great to see the "new" Wimbledon back in league football.

Spookily, this game is between the 1988 FA Cup Winners and the 1988 League Cup Winners.

Re: New Home and Away Shirts?

theres nowt wrong with wearing it to a game, or just general wear around town, tesco etc. I agree. Football shirts are just leisure wear. Presumably the sort of people who object to others wearing them to matches, actually own some sort of leisure wear? Or do they do the gardening/wash the car/go to...

Re: New Home and Away Shirts?

I can't understand why grown men bother buying them as they generally look shit, cheap and are a guaranteed turn off to the opposite sex. I've never understood why people have a problem with 'grown men' wearing their team's football shirt to a match. It's just another way of supporting your team. Y...

Re: New Home and Away Shirts?

In all seriousness I don't know what all the fuss is about. It looks hideous but its a football shirt at the end of the day. I can't understand why grown men bother buying them as they generally look shit, cheap and are a guaranteed turn off to the opposite sex. Grown men should show their colours o...
