Re: Wanderers Vs Man U

I'd play a 4-4-2 against them for once. Due to their potential to make mistakes at the back. Davies will (as usual) absolutely murder Jonny Evans and Klasnic's movement in the box could cause Phil Jones all sorts of problems. Plus from what i've seen of Jones, he's undoubtedly a good young defender...

I think you're now in the market for a new bitter rival - a team more at your level... Everton? Villa?

Norwich?

From the BBC: "Bulgaria's only attacking weapon was the wayward shooting of Martin Petrov."

Re: Cahill vs Petrov

All we need now is for Petrov to score a screamer and Young and Rooney to pick up a niggling injury each to rule them out of the game against us (couldn't give a shit about the England result).

Re: Official Gary Cahill transfer thread

BTW, I think we should give Cahill some credit for how he's handled himself through all this. Perhaps he was distracted during the 'pool game, but if so I didn't notice, and I'm pleased with how he's kept his head down and his gob shut, unlike so many.

Re: TKIZ's impossibly brilliant all new Transfer Rumours thr

According to Nixon's Twitter:

"Bolton. Spurs asked about Cahill. Tried swaps. Will have to be cash or a player that suits. Most things on hold until that works out."

Which means about as much as: "vgebhfnrskbfv ejsdbfv frlsbf eq,af bb wefbcbfek.bflvefhcb bhjvfhjcv lqwvf clv,4r bfrclegt"

I'm telling you, we won't sign anyone. We will have tried, though, and it's the trying that counts.
