Re: What a load of bollocks.

In fairness, AT, I'm not aware of anyone suggesting public funds be spent on that. I'd settle for the old bloke from 'Take Your Pick'. BONG! Nationalist bollocks, federalist bollocks, all a load of bollocks. In the light of present circumstances, is a recording of Big Ben boomed out from Westminste...

Re: Today I'm angry about.....

Parents and systems that allow 13 year olds to be out at midnight driving stolen cars. Bad enough the risk of danger to life, theirs and others, but they just don't seem to care for any form of law and order at all..Where will it all end? https://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/news/18177789.teenage-boys-res...

Re: What a load of bollocks.

Never, ever going to happen. If anything, I think it'll get a whole lot worse for them The whole sorry tale puts me in mind of girls that go in the pub with their tits hanging out and get offended when old men look at them. Indeed. The old men are in the wrong but are too angry and red faced about ...

Re: FV Recruitment Model

Least qualified of all re opinions these days, and despite my ever present optimism I still can't quite equate facts and figures management without our dreadful injury hoodoo; that and the fact that footballers are humans with all that goes along with that. I keep looking at where we; Bolton Wandere...

Re: FV Recruitment Model

I'll be more positive if I start to see some evidence of it working, but right now it's just a shrug from me I'm afraid. However many business models, transfer negotiations, statistics, analysis and high-flying lotions and potions we use, scoring one goal more than the opposition at full-time in any...

102-6 at stumps equates to a great day for Joe Root's lads. He played a binder.

A few folk apparently not over happy with this ref; a free kick that wasn't and a card that should have been red. Fair comment?

Read all Wilbur Smith's novels and, off-hand, I can't remember rain ever being even mentioned. Just saying.... :)

Re: The cheer us up memory lane thread

I really must be getting old and sentimental but it was a bit of a shock to realise this thread was from 14 years ago. Looked everywhere for the photo with a bunch of faces, but no luck. Just goes to show though how time really is flying... https://the-wanderer.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=8724&hilit=W...

Even after a long lifetime as a White, "You get nothing for hard luck, it's goals that count" etc, etc, make me puke. It's all true, but it still makes me sick...Time we had a spell of being on top...I'm truly, truly sick of losing....
