Re: Golf mates

Once had a wonderful par four on such an iced solid on the old fifth at Deane. First drive hit a ridge and went off at right angles and out of bounds. Not happy playing three off the tee but hit a good long drive. Fourth shot took a favoured kick forward onto the green, rolled and...dropped in the h...

Re: Stats

"direct" passes and knocking the ball out of play where we'd usually retain it. Evatt will have noticed that. Just a quick word on throw-ins: Since Fossey arrived and took over throw ins on the right we look more positive and less hesitant as he doesn't mess about in the usual "Dad's army" speed of...

Ipswich were Bolton on Saturday - Good possession, looked a good side, but ultimately, mistakes in possession cost them goals, they created very little and they were punished for it

Re: Stats

Not big on Stats, but I believe in fairies, so what's actually attainable ? : If, (a small word with a massive geography,) we beat Shrewsbury come Saturday and the three "C"'s, Cambridge, Charlton and Cheltenham, all lose (we have a game in hand on Shrewsbury, Charlton and Cheltenham) we could effec...

Re: creeeeeeeekeeeeeet

Probably a good thing as it shows how far off being up with the best test sides we are. Inconsistency is our main fault as nobody in the side (batsmen) can be relied on to turn in a solid innings. This was a real shocker of an innings and there's nothing worse hen losing to Oz. We won't hear the la...

We’ve got a chance here if we can get through to close relatively intact. Really good fight back from the bowlers.
Green at 3-19 says otherwise. ☹
Now 90-3..Come on.. :oyea:

Gillingham are a sinking ship right now so you’d think (hope) he and his agent are really trying to push this move through.
Club and loyalty are not words in the agent vocabulary. They'll want paying for the ink in signing contracts. I'd get rid of the lot of them.

Ipswich weren’t great but still.
They weren't too shabby either. This is League One, not the Premiership. If we hadn't defended well we could easily have been losers, not winners. Credit where it's due hey?

Meant to ask, who dummied running over the ball for Lee's goal? Smart bit of work.

Impressed with Fossey's attitude and energy. He's had a real good half and I think we've landed a good one there.
