Is Aston really worth all the hype? Am I right in thinking he has yet to have a full season in the premiership? And lets not forget that he hasn't played a single game this season.

I wouldn't say Ashton is an attractive purchase for any club at the moment...

Re: Who says footballers don't have a sense of humour?

From the beeb: Striker Adebayor denies reacting aggressively and failing to leave the pitch after being sent off, with his hearing set for Tuesday 6 March. I think that will be a fairly quick hearing.... "Mr Adebayor, please watch this is footage of the game... Is this you acting aggressively...

It just struck me when I looked at the league table... Watford could easily finish above West Ham and, although they both get relegated, West Ham would finish rock bottom of the Premiership.

I'd love that.. Take a bow West Ham.. THE WORST TEAM IN THE LEAGUE

Just having a quite pint last night at my local, when fookin 3 pissed reds come storming in to watch the game. I had to listen to them slag every single one of their own players off ("<<insert>> is good, but he's not Utd standard") throughout the whole game, while trying to sing along to the crowd s...

Really bad what happen to Terry. He was brave to but his head there but Diaby had every right to try and clear it. Felt a bit sorry for Diaby 'cos he was clearly shaken by it. It looks like he was practically in tears on his knees while Terry was getting treatment. I think he lost his head and asked...

The balaclava clad pitch invader at St James' was in fact a protestor against Liverpool's new owners. Hicks used to run a company in South Shields that went insolvent at which point he refused to pay any severance pay or meet any union bosses, even those who flew out to the States in an attempt to ...

Newcastle v Liverpool MOTD Highlights

Did anyone see the highlights of this game on MOTD? They showed a bit where a fan ran on the pitch. Normally the fan just trys to shake someone's hand while naked, but this dude was in a black balaclava, black gloves, black jacket and carrying a blanket.... I thought he looked like he was trying to ...

I've heard it's one up front tonight... Crotch on his own... What use is that?

Who the feck is supposed to head it down to? I can't imagine Gerrard or Lampard busting a gut to support the front man tonight.

Is the game on the Beeb?

Re: Hooliganism ... "the English disease" ???

And a Serie D game between Genzano and Normanna was suspended early in the second half after a linesman was hit by a drum thrown from the stands. I know it's hooliganism, but that is quite funny... I wonder if the ref heard it happen? It would have been good if the ref and linesman were wearing tho...
