Re: Official Gary Cahill transfer thread
They asked him about the delay, he said the delay hasn't been caused by something negative, it's just part of the business (whatever that means). If he's training with you I can't imagine it getting done today

Re: Official Gary Cahill transfer thread
Hi guys, just to inform you AVB press conference is underway. He said, regarding Cahill "Good steady progress has been made, we hope to conclude it very soon, talks are going very well, no deadline set whatsoever" When asked which game they hope to have him signed in time for he said "This week hope...

Re: Official Gary Cahill transfer thread
Nixon is like bang on with Bolton news isnt he? Surely if Cahill or we (chelsea) have pulled out of the deal, SSN would be all over it. Put it this way, every other footie journo pretty much said you'd have signed him by this afternoon..... Nixon only one who said it wasn't that straightforwards......

Re: Official Gary Cahill transfer thread
I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if it got hijacked by Spurs or Utd. Most people who "could know" on Twitter, ie. journos still reckon it's on course to be done tonight or tomorrow. Starting to think Gary himself may have refused our move, but still maybe hoping for a move to a North West cl...

Re: Official Gary Cahill transfer thread
The rumours are starting that the deal is now done and dusted on Twitter. In other news, the bitter Arsenal fans are back out bitching about Bolton... all stemming from us turning down their summer Cahill bid. "We don't need Cahill anyway, he's over-rated" etc . Obviously that translates into "Shit...

Re: Official Gary Cahill transfer thread
Apparently re.Cahill he is having medical first, personal terms are "provisionally agreed" pending medical results. No pen has hit paper yet. That's according to someone who writes for the Fulham chronicle covering Chelsea The Fulham Chron covers Chelsea...really? Obviously covers Fulham too, but t...

Re: Official Gary Cahill transfer thread
London press reckon its off Redknapp at Goodison, tonight Is reluctantnicko on twitter the same Alan Nixon who is reliable with bolton news? If so, he tweeted someone earlier saying Chelsea and Cahill have reached a compromise, just awaiting Abramovich to give it the OK Yeah that's him! I just got ...

Re: Official Gary Cahill transfer thread
I wonder if he will play against Everton? Or will he be gone by then? I'd like to think it was at a stage where Chelsea would want to slip up a fiver to rest him, but wouldn't be surprised if he played seeing as he's still here. I asked because today he (nixon) said the hold up is because we are wa...

Re: Official Gary Cahill transfer thread
I'd pay him 80k or so no bother. Rate him highly, I just don't see it being done anytime soon. I thought it'd of been wrapped up after you played Wolves

Re: Official Gary Cahill transfer thread
I asked because today he (nixon) said the hold up is because we are waiting to get hold of Roman on his holiday to approve the personal terms. I can't see Cahill asking for 120k a week like the Express reckon.
