Re: predictadougie
I reckon all these will make an appearance:
They're a good team, they'll be up there at the end of the season and financial fair play!

Re: Game for the Poaching at Forest!
Well, its clear what DF needs to do. Find us a Centre Back. I have no idea where Knight was going on the first goal. He ran forward trying to play off-side and left Wheater for dead and Baptise without cover. Mackie read Knights run perfectly. THe second was another offside attempt. We need a leade...

Re: Game for the Poaching at Forest!
Maybe this thrashing is all part of Dougie's plan to get some extra transfer money for centre backs!

Re: Game for the Poaching at Forest!
Overall, I thought we were the better team in that half with just our final ball often our undoing. The main difference between the teams so far being the defence; whilst we have to create chances, our defence gifts wraps them. We obviously aren’t going to achieve anything this season gifting team’s...

Re: Leicester City
Freedman impressed me at the weekend, with his subs turning the game on its head. For instance, N'gog scoring a legitimate goal with his second touch as opposed to Kevin Davies losing the ball for 60 mins. But today they were woeful, the fact that Kevin Davies got a full game is beyond me. I can acc...

Re: Now he's gone, who's next?
James Beattie was at Bolton train station today, talking about contracts on the phone whilst in the waiting room. Then he got off at Horwich Parkway, around 12:15.
Player? Manager? Coincidence? I'll let you decide.

Re: 'Ull V Bolton
We have to hire Billy Davies when Coyle goes IMO. He had two full seasons with Preston, two play-off spot finishes. He then got a poor Derby side promoted in his first season, though it didn't work out in the PL. Then at Forest in his first two full seasons he took them to consecutive third places. ...

Re: Bolton v Forest thread
Personally, I think we have the personnel but just lack the organisation you'd get under Allardyce or Megson. I'd like to see us defend as a team rather than have a yawning chasm between the midfielders and defenders. Dare I say it, I'd like to see us slow down the tempo and be more conservative wh...

Re: Bolton v Forest thread
Their first goal came because we never closed down the opposition. Just like the numerous goals we conceded of the same ilk last season. The second came from a longball that amazingly left Knight and Mills stranded versus three Forest players. Our defence never recieved any support and shielding, t...
