Ngog has talent. He does very little with it though. He often hides, he's feckless in front of goal and if he isn't weak how is it that he gets little injuries or hides when the going gets tough. He leads the line on his own with little or no service. He's feeding off scraps. It's a thankless task....

I've lived through some meh ones, and one or two good ones, but I have never been so disheartened at a transfer window closing day as I have been at this one. :( It is all a bit shit isn't it? I think the basic facts on N'Gog speak a lot too. He scored 9 league goals in 63 league appearances for Liverpool, who in his time at the club finished 2nd, 7th and 6th in the Premier League. He presumably had good service from the likes of Steven Gerrard etc. for the bulk of his playing time there....
