You'd hope so. Perhaps he'll be available for Wolves on Tuesday...David Lee's Hair wrote:Perhaps with all the troubles on u21 duty it was decided he needed to be rested
We can't waste a player of obvious quality, especially when he's ours and not just a loanee like Afobe.

So just to be clear... it's pretty obvious that this is actually Jimmy's Bolton with Sammy 'Director of Football' Lee overseeing right?
Or is it more of a sharing job with Jimmy as the touchline guy for matchday?

Re: Cometh the hour. Cometh the Holden
We've just got to see what happens... he can't be in bad overall shape given the training he's been doing, but that's not quite the same as being match fit. I just want to see him back in regular training with the 1st team, have a few development-squad games and just get playing time under his belt...

It's how people from Bolton sound He gets a big nod for not succumbing to the manc whine Amen to that... Bolton accent is the best. Nice and broad, you know where you stand with it. I fear that the Manc Whine will spread like the London Mockney one has spread across Surrey, Berkshire etc. A proper ...

Re: Now he's gone, who's next?
Do you think we could move back to the proper sports science ways we use to have when we didn't have an injury every week? +1 I think it's mad that from being the leaders in the sports science and analysis field within English football, we've now not only been caught up by the others (as is to be e...

Re: Now he's gone, who's next?
We need fresh ideas a different outlook to our football, attacking football but resilient at the same time.Olly Gunnar Sols brought this to Molde and they won the Norwegian league for the first time in their history. He is young, energetic and must have picked up a lot great tips and advice from is ...

Re: . . . and take Gartside with you, too.
To clarify: I like the Dutch league. That's partly because I generally like the Dutch (and Dutch football) but also because I like any division that isn't broadly predictable before a ball is kicked. Like the Championship, funnily enough: I said before a ball was kicked that I couldn't predict whet...

Re: Now he's gone, who's next?
Word is on Twitter that OGS has no intention of leaving Molde. Not particularly surprised to be honest. Why would he leave the champions of Norway, currently leading both the league and doing well in Europe, for Bolton? He obviously wants to finish what he started in Norway first before contemplati...

Re: . . . and take Gartside with you, too.
They might be operating at the same level as Championship football (they're not, but in your estimation), I lived in the Netherlands for a year and saw a fair bit of Eredivisie football. To be honest, Championship football is exactly what I'd liken it to. Yep - last year six teams went into the las...

Re: . . . and take Gartside with you, too.
You also have to remember that despite what you may think of the level of the leagues in foreignland, these guys (the likes of Solskjaer, McClaren etc.) haven proven that they are winners at the highest level in that country. No other team in Norway is as good as Solskjaer's Molde, no team in Hollan...

Just had a 1st teamer round and they're as much in the dark about the new manager as we are Ooh, get you! A first teamer! Did you get any gossip on the players' opnions of Coyle? On the general atmosphere? He hadn't lost the dressing room as many thought he had but the results just weren't coming s...

I think giving it someone because they were a top player is madness, they're different jobs and require different attributes. indeed... i'm always bemused by the calls for Gudni or Per or Campo or Hierro or Youri to come and manage us.. Re: Now he's gone, who's next?
I just wikipedia-d Keith Hill. The first sentence of his page is absolute genius! Ha. Wonder how long it's been like that for - or will remain like that for. On another note - I wonder what will become of Coyle... Liverpool? Blackburn? Might even take a job that's freed up by the previous incumbent...
