Re: FA Cup Draw

Does anyone know a good pub nearby?
I'll be coming from Salisbury with a few mates a good few hours before kick off.
We'll smash Eastleigh and realise that the goal machine has found his level!

So, predicted lineups? I'll start with -------------- Amos -------------- Wilson - Prince - Dervite - Moxey ---------Spearing - Vela------------ Feeney---- Clough ---- da Silva -------------Dobbie------------- Subs: Fitzsimons, Casado, White, Mavies, Walker, Heskey, Madine If Derik is fit then I'd l...

Re: If carlsberg did transfer threads.....This would be it!

A friend of mine asked Lennon on Thursday during a press conference if there was any interest in Jones from our side. Lennon denied any interest whatsoever, so unless he's playing his cards extremely close to his chest we can probably rule that one out. I suspect it will be a wide man. With Heskey ...

Re: Hover through the fog and filthy air: Boro (A) 15.8.15

If Danns left us, he'd have to drop a division, as he wouldn't get anywhere near another championship side. That's worrying for me, that we've got some players in our team who aren't even Championship standard Worrying but not surprising. We're probably paying wages equivalent to league one level i...

Re: If carlsberg did transfer threads.....This would be it!

Any news on where Manyor Figueroa is headed this summer. Released by Hull, 32, but I'd go in for him, although didn't see much of him last season. Plays left, or centre back and should offer us more quality at the back. Played for Wigan, twice, so knows the area. A former Heskey team-mate. Reckon we...

Re: Shopuld BWFC sack Freedman now?

I agree he needs to go. Although I would give him the next 2 games but want 6 points, anything less and get rid. I'm sure gartside can't be enjoying seeing the club become relegation candidates, and suspect freedman will be out by the international break. Then the question becomes who we need. I'd ...

Re: Forest Home 16/08/2014 - Match Thread

Went to my first match for a good while having been out the country, and overall wasn't too disappointed by what I saw. I felt that both goals we conceded could have been avoided. The first, Chungy's poor defensive work allowed a good cross to come in which some weak defending failed to clear, and t...

Re: Abdoulaye's going t'Souk transfer thread

Providing we got the Juke in off the back of this then I wouldn't be too downbeat. Davies has never quite lived up to the player we all hoped he would become, yet still is undoubtedly one of our best players and one who can create chances. We have plenty of centre-mids and not a goal-scoring striker...

Re: Ram it up 'em?! - Derby (A) 11/3/14

I saw no problem with Dougie's tactics last night. Didn't see the game, but on paper, playing 4-5-1 away from home against Derby seems sensible. We're on a good run, and I'd much rather keep the momentum behind us, rather than risk getting stuffed like at Reading. A draw last night will give the pla...

Re: Den bones, Den bones, Den dry bones...

Thanks for the radio link. Sounds like they're all over us. Just heard that Ream has made foul throws in successive games, would be nice to think we could, at least, master the basics. Spearing left for dead, now Millwall have it wide-right, chance opens up for them, spins out for a corner. I have n...

Re: Giant Killing on the Cards? (Cardiff Thread)

Not a chance in hell of winning this one. On the back of recent performances I can't see how we'll be able to compete with a side who performed well against an incredibly strong City side at the weekend, not to mention the fact that OGS would love to win some silverware this year. Wish I could be mo...

Re: Freedman out!

I was at the boro match yesterday and feel the need to stress just how bad a side we have become. No gameplan, no clear tactics, little effort, little quality. After watching the lads play long balls, at home, against a side who weren't threatening on the ball, I can't say I was surprised when we co...

Re: Kick off with a glass or two of claret!

Looking forward to this game, I'll be watching from a pub in Bratislava. Bogdan, Baptiste, Knight, Wheater, Tierney Andrews, Medo, Pratley Ngog, Eagles Beckford Hope that Sordell finally comes good this season, but I'm not convinced from what I've seen of him in a BWFC shirt. But if he does, and Bec...

Re: Millwall @ The Reebok

I've been abroad all season and so far have only been able to watch the game against Cardiff which was on in the pub, so I'm basing my opinions on what I've heard mostly. But it sounds to me as though Lonergan deserves a starting place and Sordell should be given a run out in the hope he really stri...

Re: Petrov to Espanyol

Bold move from Dougie if Petrov does leave. For many I think Petrov epitomised the supposed 'Premier League quality' we have in our team, but after 5 months struggling in the Championship it's clear we need more than simply to rely on players who undoubtedly have quality. We need desire, guts and ta...
