Re: A case for Defence (is it really all Zats Fault?)

A keeper doesn't organise the defence FFS. The defence organises the defence. Keeper tells you to get rid of it, get out of his area and that's about it. I sometimes think a few people need to play the game before talking about it in depth I am a keeper, and yes they can. They don't have to, but it...

Re: What are you watching tonight?

Watched "Shoot Em Up" with Clive Owen and Paul Giamatti. The most "over the top" and crazy, but good fun film I've seen in ages. Cannot take it serious at all, but a good laugh nonetheless.

Re: A case for Defence (is it really all Zats Fault?)

I completely agree about Bogdan, he's a great shot-stopper but doesnt seem to have authority over his box and doesnt seem to inspire confidence in the defence. I do think the games Lonergan played last season, he had control over his defenders and commanded his area well. In regards to Knight, even ...

Re: Game for the Poaching at Forest!

So I'm going for a 1-1 draw with N'gog getting both (9th minute OG and a 27th minute equaliser) Can you be a bit more specific? The OG will be in the Bridgford End goal, the other one will be towards the Trent End. N'gog will celebrate both, because goals is goals, whichever end you score them at. ...

Re: What are you watching tonight?

Watched " I give it a year " last night on DVD (Think the General recommended it a few weeks ago). I wasn't expecting much being a british comedy, but by the crin I was wrong, its really funny and a good film to boot. I actually laughed out loud on loads of occasions which is a rarity for a film the...

Each to their own, but I thought it was awful!!! Totally agree about the "absolutely crackers" bit, but thought I'd wasted 1 & 1/2 hrs of my life watching it.

Quite decent too be honest, loved 2000AD as a kid and was quietly impressed. Supposedly going to make a sequel with some of the other characters from the comics in it. Just hope it doesnt go the Stallone way.

Re: The "Nothing to see here"Transfer thread

Dougie is also quoted as saying Beckford can drip feed info to our younger strikers (Eaves and Sordell) who arent ready to play 46 games a season and Beckfords knowledge will be invaluable for the maximum of 20 games that they'll play???? :conf: I can possibly understand this of Eaves, but surely So...

Re: Whaddya mean it's not a record?

There was only something like 2 away wins all season and about 6 away goals scored.. In the 2 games where the away teams won, there were riots. They basically let the home team win, to make sure they don't get murdered. It's an absolute disgrace Sounds a bit like playing Sunday League in Skelmersda...
