New Freedman book
Interesting new book just out about Freedman - and what motivates him. He's had a few fall-outs along the way - eg with Ron Atkinson. "A spikey little jock" is how one of his managers described him when he was a player. But all-in-all seems a good lad with loads of experience dating back to his QPR ...

Which are the friendliest pubs for Trotters fans?
As a long-distance fan, I've never been to the Reebok but I'm hoping to get along to a match next month. Can anyone recommend some pubs that welcome Bolton fans on match day - preferably within five or miles from the ground? I want to savour the full matchday atmosphere - both before and afterwards....
