Re: The "Nothing to see here"Transfer thread
So many times there was gaping space in the right flank in the first 2 games, just begging for a full back to get into. But he seems hesitant to get forward. For me, he's (baptiste) a centre back playing at full back. It doesn't really work, unless you have exceptional wingers. It's killing our wid...

Re: Dougie Freedman - Ten Months On
There appears to be a lot being written here yet the conversation isn't moving along one iota . Suitably told off, I shall retire from propounding the anti view. Dougie's not employing him any way. Woah there, young Spot. A teller offer I am not. ;) Just think we're going round in circles. I agree....

Re: Club Rebranding
Anyway, the giving pies away idea is pathetic Ahh, were they handing them out generally? I hadn't realised that. As I was walking out down the concourse two young girls appeared with a cardboard tray of pies asking politely if anyone would one. As to be expected, Mrs Scutter of Bolton, on gaining c...

Re: Dougie Freedman - Ten Months On
Perhaps you'd care to explain then why Coyle left this squad in 18th position in the championship and then Freedman managed to get us to 7th? Coyle was incapable of turning things around for us. So I'm genuinely interested in why that was? Coyle built the squad over 3 years. Had in his own words "t...

Re: The "Nothing to see here"Transfer thread
Of course Andrews is gonna be a revelation at Brighton and his performances alone will win them promotion. Its just our luck. There is more chance of Fat Frank signing for Yeovil and being a revelation for them and winning them promotion. How Andrews ever made it as a footballer (and an internation...

Re: Dougie Freedman - Ten Months On
Not convinced at all - our passing, ball retention & movement is not much better than under the last man, and we still play it aimlessly long far to often. However, like others have said I would certainly like him to be successful. I disagree with a large part of that. If I recall correctly, our po...

Re: Dougie Freedman - Ten Months On
Every time I hear Freedman talk about the future of the club as a whole or hear his plans on how we can improve on the pitch, I'm very impressed. I think he talks a good game but unfortunately, I don't think we are playing that well as a side, especially going forward. I think we should be able to ...

Re: serious question!
I cut mine off (hair!!!) for Children In Need when I was 27. Just before that was the last time I was promoted at work after having 3 promotions in 5 years with long hair! I have now had short hair for 8 years and doubt I will get another promotion in the next 8 or 80!

I'm having nae luck, me. QPR have binned Park Ji-Sung off to PSV. So I'm in the transfer market already. I have had to make 2 transfers too as I have heard that 2 of the players I had are unlikely to play much if at all! Also, I have Eagles as my captain, do I change that because of a possible inju...

I thought it was just the lot at the bottom that liked to be lippy. Anyway is there anywhere in Horwich I could take a couple of lippy soft southerners for a drink before the game or are we better opf going into Bolton. Could give them a scare and take them into the Rocket and show them around thos...
