Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )
In Anderson's parting shot he says this football club and most of the championship clubs aren't sustainable without a rich benefactor. Can I suggest we stop signing journeymen paying £10k a week and start blooding the youngsters now. For most football clubs outside the premiership this has to be the...

Re: Where Are They Now? The Class Of 2011-12
I've had contrasting experiences this week supporting Bolton Wanderers. I rang for my free ticket for my wife to attend the game on Monday and because I don't have printing facilities at home they offered collection on the night. I live 60 miles away and can't be bothered trying to get there early s...

Re: We are (hopefully) staying up: the opposition
When Parky had the disastrous start at the beginning of the season KA stood by him when most other clubs would have fired him. I'd like to think that loyalty shown by Ken would mean something to Parky IF Reading come calling.

Re: Top Moment of Season
Not forgetting the comeback away at Bradford, seemed as good as a win at the time and a demoralising result for one of our rivals.

Me too and I'll watch the playoffs with interest but very relaxed.

Re: Promotion to the Championship - All the Goals.
Some great memories watching that lot back. Fleetwood away has to be performance of the season in my mind.
One observation I noticed all the team seem to celebrate whenever a goal was scored except when Le Fondre scored, seems a bit odd.

...and as a bonus ball means there's still a chance of Bury going down. I mean, it's not the main issue this weekend but it's possible that within the space of 24 hours we could see Wigan relegated, Blackburn relegated, Bury relegated and Bolton promoted... followed by a bank holiday off. Oh please...

Re: Iron versus Wheaterbix. Scunthorpe away, Sat 8th April.
I don't agree that we improved our position on Saturday because Fleetwood lost. We now have 2 teams chasing us and one of them, Bradford are on a hell of a run. The chances are if Fleetwood lose Bradford may win or visa versa in the next round of games, so as always we have to sort our own results f...

Re: Who should be offered a contract for next season?
Following on from DSB theme, I'll bet Parky has quite a few players in mind from other third tier teams already, players he thinks can make the step up assuming we go up. We should be able to prise them away, not by offering massive wages, those days are gone but a step up to a higher league should ...

I think if Madine doesn't play then we should be playing Derik in one of the defensive midfield slots because he at least looks to play the ball into feet for the front men.

Re: Neither Fish nor Foul. Fleetwood (A) 11/3/17 15:00
When Parky moved Morais into centre midfield for the last 20 mins v wombles we started creating more chances. It may be worth trying Morais behind the front 2 if his legs are up to it. I reckon Fleetwood will have been working all week on how to nullify Madine, it may be worth trying Morais behind A...

If you're right Bwfc_Insane then he's probably made his mind up already to leave at the first opportunity that comes his way.

Also I'm a bit concerned that there's no immediate response from Parky on the Clough sale, I'm wondering if Clough was sold over his head hence why he's saying nothing.

My concern with the kid from Brum is we've tried this umpteen times in the recent past and none of them have worked out, all it does is give them kids some learning on the job. Saidy Janko, Vladimir Weiss, Miyachi and Silva from Arsenal.
