On a lighter note it amused me when they reported an air force training exercise on state TV and used footage of...

Shit in the Attic, or something. Might see if I've any work emails in prference to watching this utter shite. Once met a bloke called Alastair Appleton who presented that. He shared a house with an athletics coach I knew. I'd never heard of it which he seemed to find refreshing. He picked it up whe...

Yep, deep friction massage is the best way to shift it. I'd have one Prufrock even if the pain goes, because there will be shortening of the muscle. When I'm training properly I go for one every couple of weeks to try to prevent injury. Didn't bother this year which is daft as I'm the athletics equi...

Our batsmen will be lucky to get half of what they finish on. England always struggle in Perth, even when they are playing well. All over by tomorrow morning I reckon.
Will make the next series an interesting one. Would be nice to see them put up a bit of a fight in the rest of this one too.

Are you moving again or still hopping? I haven't run for 3 months now because of my back. Just going to get hammered for the rest of the year and start again from scratch.

Personally I found Pencilbiter's question odd and assumed he was serious because he added "serious question" not an emoticon. I was surprised because Pencilbiter generally poses question that are not crass generalizations. How can a question be a generalisation of any sort? And PB's is specific. I ...

I caught the early evening screening of Nebraska at the Cornerhouse tonight. By the director of Sideways and About Schmit - two very high benchmarks imho. It does not disappoint. The premise is an elderly man mistakenly believes he has won a million dollars. His son, despite knowing the truth, agre...
