Re: The "Nothing to see here"Transfer thread
I wonder if Blackburn have come in for one of our strikers in a player cash + deal for Rhodes? #clutchingatstraws keep clutching - wouldn't that have come out of any negotiations we intiated as part of our interest in Rhodes i.e. we threw someone in. thought this one sounded a bit out of the blue.

Re: The "Nothing to see here"Transfer thread
NGog or Sordell being bid for would hardly be a shock. Unless the surprise was Moyes was in for them . I'd go with Eaves or Craig Davies or possibly Zach Clough. Mind we were meant to be announcing Beckford this morning and haven't so 2+2=? unless the shock is that Coyle is in for them Why would th...

Re: SKD off to Canada...
He wasn't rubbish for years. His last two seasons were two too many. His legs looked shot, he looked less than interested and seemingly happily took his salary whilst not really contributing much. Now Dougie seemed to be weaning him out slowly before the contract showdown. It had been general knowl...

Re: SKD off to Canada...
Feckin clueless - I mean really feckin clueless. Dear God - the "fickleness of fans" - he was rubbish for years and we still paid him. We should be up in arms about the tw*ts who let that mediocrity continue at the club. Not some millionaire soft as shite has been who couldn't find the net if it wa...

Re: The "Nothing to see here"Transfer thread
According to Dan, Rhodes is only good for tap ins.. Here is a video of all the tap ins that Rhodes scored last season. You might want to mute it  Your video has proven my point most the goals he was either unmarked or only 10 yards out and I saw him beat just one player in the whole video in s...

Re: SKD off to Canada...
It's quite sad to see how quickly fans turn on players. Whenever a player wants to leave a club, like Benteke at Villa, you always hear fans moaning about a lack of loyalty in football, but the fans themselves have no loyalty towards the players either. One bad season and the fans have it in for yo...

Re: The "Nothing to see here"Transfer thread
I think you're getting too giddy, if it was that advanced he'd have written a story saying so. And the Blackburn manager wouldn't be doing press saying 'Rhodes isn't for sale'.[/quote ] Not really, just tend to think that the money men increasingly have these conversations without managers knowledg...

Re: The "Nothing to see here"Transfer thread
whish makes me think that the negotiations/ deal were reasonably advanced, otherwise Nixon wouldn't have revealed it. As said earlier the biggest problem is someone else coming in.

Re: The "Nothing to see here"Transfer thread
only way is to ask him what he means - are we thinking about it, have we just alerted press to our interest, have we made informal or formal enquiry to them, have we made a bid.

Re: The "Nothing to see here"Transfer thread
thats why Nixon has a fantastic job. Its all rumours, everyone is hungry for them. He can suggest things are in the offing ( FWIW I do think he's pretty ITK). However theres a 1001 reasons why they might not materialise which gets him off the hook, and from his perspective he gets paid for doing it.

Don't think its bluster, but everything you've said is true - all of them are needed for any transfer to happen
