Re: Freedman out!
This should give you all a laugh at how desperate things are at CPFC, where Freedman has recently been appointed Sporting Director. One fan (thai eagle) is calling for a management duo of coach Sammy Lee and Dougie. Their thoughts are below: Think combination of Lee/Dougie and back playing the Palac...

Re: Freedman out!
Freedman now In!
He's ended up back where he came from after rather bizarrely being appointed Sporting Director at CPFC.
Heaven knows what he did at Bolton and then a forgettable spell at Nottingham Forest to show he is suited to this role.......whatever it is.

Re: Freedman out!
This epic post just goes on and on. I confess I am a CPFC fan who wrongly claimed on this forum you had just poached the Scottish Mourinho when Dougie joined you. He has just spoken to a Palace internet radio show in which he says he knew he had made a mistake in joining your club when taking the fi...

Re: Chungy open letter to fans
Fair question Jugs. If you mean by a 'chance' a run of consecutive starts in the Prem then no, he has not got close to that and nobody is clamouring for it either. When he has played, which has been in bits and pieces, he has not really seized the opportunity or caught the eye. But hey, as somebody ...

Re: Chungy open letter to fans
Speaking as a Palace fan the Chungy signing has been a total waste of money.
Agreed, maybe he is a terrific fellah, but he has made zero impact at CPFC.
He's incredibly lightweight, but does not make up for that with any pace or trickery.
Time to move him on.

Owen Garvan - A Crystal Palace FC View.
The ponderous Owen Garvan has a nice habit of being sorted out with a new job every now and then by his ex boss's. His former Ipswich manager George Burley paid something like £100,000 for him to bring him to Selhurst Park and now Dougie Freedman has brought him to your place. Owen Garvan has hardly...

Phew! David Ngog Signs For Swansea
Goal shy Bolton striker David Ngog has somehow pulled off a move to a Premiership club. Wow! This is the same player who scored 19 goals in 94 Liverpool appearances and 16 goals for Bolton since 2011. I bet every footballer in the country will want his agent for achieving such a move. Ngog told repo...

Re: Dear Dougie - Where Did It All Go Wrong?
Hey Bobo: You're questioning whether I am bored and you've posted over 14,000 times. Are you kidding me? One doesn't have to be a Bolton Wanderers supporter to have a pop at Dougie Freedman. I thought you were all sick of him anyway. His appointment has been a right disaster hasn't it? I did believe...

Dear Dougie - Where Did It All Go Wrong?
The Bolton Wanderers manager has walked the well-trodden path of previous football men with an over-inflated view of their own abilities who veer from club-to-club in the mistaken belief something bigger, better, more lucrative awaits. Freedman did this when convincing himself Bolton were a bigger c...

The Dougie Freedman Question - A Crystal Palace View
When we lost CPFC legend Freedman to you I thought you had just got your hands on Scotland's answer to Jose Mourinho. He took over the team with the worst defensive record in the top four divisions when George Burley was rightly sacked and with the same players immediately began keeping clean sheets...
