Re: Today I'm happy about......

Got tickets for Court no1 at Wimbledon. Monday of the 2nd week. Something I've always fancied but not so much as to ever go and queue up for. A mate got lucky in the ballot but cant go on the days they gave him. 125 quid each seems a bit steep mind.

Anyone been? Reccos? What to avoid?

Re: What a load of bollocks.

Never, ever going to happen. If anything, I think it'll get a whole lot worse for them The whole sorry tale puts me in mind of girls that go in the pub with their tits hanging out and get offended when old men look at them. You've been caught peeking again, haven't you? :D As dysfunctional as the R...

Re: FV Recruitment Model

Burnley just feels more old-school sensible financing. Picked up good 'uns from the rags like Michael Keane and Dwight McNeil but muich of the rest is taking a gamble on players too good for the Champo whom the other Prem clubs won't touch; sometimes it works, sometimes (Andre Gray) it doesn't. I w...

Re: What a load of bollocks.

Seems a bit harsh asking them to repay the refurb costs back. Do they just go back to being ordinary Joe's now to earn a crust? He in the army and she back on the box? I think they've a lot more about them than Fergie and Edward but they're were pretty hopeless at earning outside the royal sphere.

Re: FV Recruitment Model

Brentford are a great example for when we can start paying fees again. Peterborough, or Burnley as was, are a better model for us to follow right now.

Re: Faal Mental Jackett - Pompey (H), 3:00pm, 18/01/2020

Theres been some shockers this season for sure but last year, every home game from September onwards was us putting 11 behind the ball, not having a single shot on target and hoping to hang onto 0-0 for as long as possible. This season, Wycombe & Coventry, I wouldn't have missed for the world. Every...

There are bright spots. Sadly this season is one of possibly the worst in memory results and enjoyment wise.
That's true, if you've forgotten about last season already!

Re: Faal Mental Jackett - Pompey (H), 3:00pm, 18/01/2020

Felt for us today. They're working their socks off but just not getting the rub of the green. If the ball can go 2 ways and 1 is to our disadvantage, then that's the way it's going at the moment. We dominated the 2nd half without creating clear cut chances. Politic MotM followed closely by Darcy. O'...

I'd be surprised if we could attract a Bridcutt, Verlinden type
More like a half-cut malingerer... :(
He's already been snapped up by Blackpool :D

Re: Onwards and Downwards: 2020 transfer speculation thread.

I'm sure our poor results over xmas will have a detrimental effect on our recruitment. At the last window we could sell the dream of false position, become a hero etc. Now we're asking players to pass up other opportunities to come to an already relegated side, easy to see why some may not fancy it....

Word out that Peter Kenyon has been 'helping out' with the board and club this week.

Hope I'm wrong but this feels slightly worrying..

Not money or owt. Just the club wanted to go a different way. A back 4 with no left back. Hmmm

It is surely Hill's doings to leave us with no left back?

How could anyone outside the club's inner sanctum come to that conclusion?
By noticing the absence of Chicksen?

Deciphering Hills comments (not easy, I know) when he spoke about Chicksen being released?

5 minutes ago I was thinking "Well at least we've managed to score 1away when not getting hammered"...

If you're going to go off on bizarre rants Keith, you're going to have to back up your reputation and point of view with something better than this

🤣we’ve tried 3 out there this game! Might bring me boots on Saturday.
Bizarre that this was seen as a better solution than offering Chicksen a 1, 3 or 6 month contract

Wasn’t he on loan at us a couple of years ago? Invisible man?
He was. Spent a few games watching the ball launched over his head and went the same way as Adam Armstrong
