Always good to get a point away from home.
Just need to start winning our home games now.

Re: Exeter Expects. Exeter City v Bolton (A) - 19:00 - 12th Jan
Covid + Brexit + Capitol Hill last week is enough to crush anyone's joie de vivre. At least supporters of other clubs can be cheered by their team's performances. Not us though. Our gameplan going out the window due to the latest injury jinx, I expect to see a right full back at left wing back, God ...

I could cope with the suspension of football if it meant Tranmere were relegated again!

That new striker. Ched Evans? Just been told to leave Fleetwood by Barton for "several infractions". Unsure whether they're terminating his contract yet though. Nixon tweet: "PRESTON. Close to winning race for Ched Evans. FLEETWOOD may yet want fee for player Joey Barton said was out. SUNDERLAND an...

Re: We've all come a long way: Crawley (H) Sat 2 Jan @ 3pm
We keep saying we don't have the players to play a different formation, but we don't have the players playing this one very well either! This. A hundred times this. Square pegs in round holes. He obviously believes wholeheartedly in this system, which is fine if you have wingbacks at the club. We h...

Re: We've all come a long way: Crawley (H) Sat 2 Jan @ 3pm
Did we play a lot better or did they just get deeper trying to protect their lead? I see we haven't got out of the habit yet of winning back possession when the opponents have come out of their shell, and by passing sideways and really slowly to each other, the opposition trot back into position beh...

We've done well to go in all square there. Let's see if he can earn his corn as a coach and transform us for the 2nd half.

Re: New Manager Thread
A decent season is still achievable. New tick list for me: A plan B at home - we’ve lost home games because we have no ability to mix up the style of play if it’s not working. Square pegs / square holes - sign players for the formation (or change the formation). Consistency. Look more up for the ba...

Re: Can we give the Cumbrians, the blues? Carlisle away Sat 26th Dec.3-0 clock.
Feels like we're on a fine edge. Work through and eradicate some of our many faults and we'll be a side to be reckoned with playing good footy. Keep repeating the calamities and we'll drift to seasons end with a few more heavy defeats and our better players will want out. There's definitely somethin...

Jeff Stelling keeps repeating a quote from Evatt this week "we're the best team in this division"
Did he really say that?
That would be worse than any of the shite Hill came out with!

100%!
A couple of surprises in there but the old noggin must still have some mileage left in it.
Did we draw the away game that season? I've got 2-2 in mind?

Weak as piss. No leaders, poor decision making throughout. Tranmere are a poor side, which tells me how bad we must be.

Well we had the openings in that first 20 to be a couple in front. Since then we've lost momentum and tempo. Evatts special half time talk is needed. Delfounso needs to step up too.

We seemed to lose all momentum when Isgrove gave it away needlessly. They've looked a different side for the last 7 or 8 minutes. What a soft goal to concede too
