Re: Problems with Gartside
forgive me if this has already been raised but would it make any difference - whether it was her or a consortium or even joining with ED, wouldn't FFP still limit what can be done ? (i'm still not convinced by the ED has lost interest idea) No idea Staffs. I'd have thought as it's owed to a man rat...

Re: Problems with Gartside
IMHO I'd presume that it could be a realistic possibility. If for example Devey (et al.) offered £30million; would ED be tempted? Granted he has put in £100+million, but that was over a long period of time and has almost 0 chance of ever being reimbursed. I'm not up on the legality of it all, but sh...

Re: Problems with Gartside
You would tend to hope that if a player is left out towards the end of his contract it is for only one of two reasons: A) He's done, so it isn't productive/proactive to play him B) The player would be eligible for significant appearance/goals/clean sheet etc. type bonuses. Re: Empty seats @ Macron
Rotherham could, arguably, be the least attractive fixture of the season both to neutrals, fans and season ticket holders. Put it on a Tuesday evening and that knocks even more off the gate, especially if ticket holders don't bother to turn up. If Bolton did go down...this is a taste of things to c...

Re: The New Freedman Poll
First time poster, long time listener. Just thought I'd express an opinion (be gentle with me) while there's a topic of fair weather fans. I used to have a season ticket etc. I'll admit I don't go the Macron regular anymore as the cost of tickets is simply not value for money. Atmosphere aside the o...

Re: what is the Fullest/Empiest ground you have watched foot
I once went to watch Leigh RMI play at Hilton Park. The attendance for the game was about 250...sadly the away team brought 230ish. Completely bizarre atmosphere with literally about a dozen home fans.
