Re: Does Parky have the Balls to find a winning recipe? Bolton v Norwich 4/11/217

Goo win and we deserved that, we worked hard and apart from the first 20 minutes, we pressed them back instead of sitting back....good 3 points :)

Re: Buoyant Bolton or Wallowing Wanderers? Fulham v Bolton 28/10/2017

I said at the beginning of the season, if we were giving it our all in games, then that would do for me. That is what they are doing. and although I'm gutted we didn't get 3 points, I'm proud of the lads today, and we are giving ourselves a chance now to stay with the pack at the bottom

Re: Jumping through hoops to whack the boys from the bush? - Bolton v QPR 21/10/217

1st Half we were quite solid, thought we deserved to go in 1 nil up. QPR had the better 2nd half and coped better with the weather...Ameobi cut out of challenges and Vela & Henry tired visibly, but the weather conditions definitely didnt help and the pitch was heavy...all in all a draw was a fair re...

Re: A wiser Wanderers to meet with the Owls - Bolton v Sheffield Wed 14/10/2017

What a bloody good win that was! It was end to end stuff, and it could have ended any score, but enjoyed it (at then end when we won). Vela my MOM closely followed by Ameobi, what a difference these two players make to our team. We are going to find it really difficult to catch up, but as long as th...

Re: Should Phil Parkinson be sacked?

So looking at it from a season ticket holder point of view, I might as well have just chucked £300 down the drain and said oh well it doesn't matter, I knew we would look awful this season??

Cars in for repairs this weekend so it looks like I'll be joining the match day bus crewill Has anyone ever caught one of these? What's the time they set off? Anyone know the pickup locations particularly in the daisy hill area? Hope you took bus beers. They're a great service to be fair. Pick us u...

Re: Tonight's Football

Those of you not watching the Sheffield derby, make sure you see the goals at some point, look at the quality of the finishes, then remind yourself that we're in the same division as these two and have Gary Madine up top. watched it, can't believe we actually came up with them this season,the...

Re: A taste of honey, or a sting in the beehind? Bolton v Brentford 23/9/2017

Please can somebody tell me why:-
1. We played 5 defenders against their lone striker
2. played Morais who was our best winger last season in midfield, then later put him on the left
3. plays Armstrong before he plays Le Fondre
4. Plays Cullen at all
Because I'm totally baffled

Re: Should Phil Parkinson be sacked?

Sorry..I voted yes. We know all our problems off the pitch, no money, transfer embargo etc etc BUT, we could at least try and be a compact unit, make it difficult for the opposition to get down our half of the pitch. We are just an absolute shambles in midfield and toothless up front, and it ends wi...

Re: We may as well get Hammered - Carawotsit cup (A) 19 Sept

I don't know how people think we can win games with the midfield we have available so far It's very weak, in fact it would be weak even in league one. I think even with Vela back in we will struggle. We needed a strong spine and we just havent

Re: Turning the tide? Orwell adrift? Ipswich (A) 16/9/17 3pm

It's so hard to not feel frustrated right now, losing games isnt good for anybody..the manager, players fans. We all know what we have been through, it's been tough, and understandably we have been patient with Parky, he's done so well with everything he has had to put up with. After saying all that...

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

I am really relieved that the embargo has gone! being a season ticket holder, to go there to the home games and watching us lose, and really and truthfully not even looking like we would get back in the games and score, was getting depressing, I was getting really downbeat about the whole thing....I...

Re: If we can't find our tackle, we live like a Monk. Bolton v Boro 9/9/17.

At least Antoneee I think will improve, there was no hope with the other 3, he never gave up which I liked, but he did look like a 12 year old :) Alnwick should be given a little bit longer..the ball did swerve in front of him and it was just a very painful game to watch at times overall. Hopefully ...

Re: If we can't find our tackle, we live like a Monk. Bolton v Boro 9/9/17.

I was thinking about this way after the match AT and sadly we have not got anybody who can fill that role, in fact I was thinking what players Parkinson could have played yesterday which might have made a difference who are in our squad, and against teams like the Middlesboro and Derbys of this leag...

Re: If we can't find our tackle, we live like a Monk. Bolton v Boro 9/9/17.

Madine was by far and away our best player because the others hadn't got a clue. Darby should not play again, neither should Pratley, though I understand why they are because we have no one else. For a defensive minded manager, and for somebody who likes a team to be a tight unit, we are shocking!! ...

Have to hold my hands up and say I have not seen Noone play, or maybe I have and can't remember him. Please that they have signed someone who may improve/help the team, but I was secretly hoping they could sign a defensive midfielder, still hoping they can?

Re: A visit from the Pride without Prejudice....

No-one is paying their players 4.4kpw including us. It's for half a transfer window. There are still players signed in the Prem in this squad. Sure, we aren't competing financially with Middleborough or villa, but if you think we aren't with Burton or Millwall you're soft in the head. Half a window...
