Re: Trotters away to the Tigers (Fri night 25/08/17)

Knew at the start of this season we needed to replace Spearing...we can't compete without steel in midfield, this league is too tough. And Parky needs a wobble of his head with this 3-5-2 it's really isnt good enough in this league with our players

2-1 win to us.
We'll shit em.
I'm going and I'm on a new away winning streak. Of one.
Happy with £12 for the ticket too.

Re: A visit from the Pride without Prejudice....

Personally, I don't think Spearing ever lived up to his billing as midfield general. He was combative for sure but for me he rarely grabbed a game by the scruff of its neck and ran the show. Absolutely this. He might improve our midfield, but I've seen nothing to suggest it would be by much. Scored...

Re: A visit from the Pride without Prejudice....

I can clearly remember the "gliding past us" bit. We were just outplayed by a team that were organised and could pass and move the ball at ease...."moving" being the apt word. It was literally men against boys and we have a lot to learn

Re: A visit from the Pride without Prejudice....

I don't know about getting knocked off the ball, we were nowhere near it, we were chasing shadows most of the 1st half

Re: A visit from the Pride without Prejudice....

That was as bad a game as the last Championship fiasco. Outclassed all over the pitch. We were lucky to get away with just 2 goals down, how they didn't score another 4 by half time I will never know. But we cannot keep gifting teams 1 or 2 goal start, the match was finished by 13 minutes in. I know...

Re: A visit from the Pride without Prejudice....

I would love a win against Derby, we have been improving with every game, seem to have a little bit more confiedence, but can't see us beating them. We still need a defensive midfield player, so will go for a hard fought draw

I didn't go to the game so can't comment on how we played, but I think after going a goal down, I will take a draw. Look forward to reading what the match goers write?

Re: Pre-season fixtures 2017

Is anybody going today for our last pre-season game against Stoke? I was thinking about it but I want to remain upbeat for the season so I have decided I won't see us get thrashed again against of all teams STOKE (bad memories)

Re: Pre-season fixtures 2017

I try and not see any pre season games, because I know it is a way for the players to get match fit and for the Manager to try different players/formations etc....but by the time the first/second league match comes along and they are still doing the same formations that maybe didn't work, then I'll ...

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

I've seen all the tweets involving Moxey and it's cringeworthy to say the least. I don't agree with Moxey tweeting anything that happens within the club (and his wife has joined in also...but I also don't condone what some of our fans have said back to him either, although he has left himself open t...
