Re: I wish I'd never left Bolton...v Blackpool H. 8-0 clock 7-10-19.

enjoyed the game last night and noticing just how much fitter they are looking with each passing game. I think Blackpool will be challenging for promotion this season, they are an organised side, but I'm really loving how our style has changed and now look forward to each matchday and I'm not really...

Re: Grabbing life by the bullocks. Oxford (H) 17.9.19 KO 8pm

I loved that game of football last night. It was entertaining, easy on the eye and we should have been 4 nil up within the first 20 minutes. Yes we as still a work in progress and we may even get another battering on Saturday, but who knows we will have done some more training on fitness and getting...

Re: Grabbing life by the bullocks. Oxford (H) 17.9.19 KO 8pm

Has anybody seen Hill's pre-match video for tonight's game? Hill is quite insistent where he is not looking at the scoreboard and whether we lose or not. He says he is trying to get his message across to the players on how HE wants to plays, his ethos. So I'm thinking I'm not looking too emotionally...

A bit of positivity. We had a good first 5 minutes and the fans celebrated like we had won the FA Cup :) On the rest of the game, lets just say there is a lot of work to be done. I'm looking forward to League 2!

Re: What is our best starting eleven?

There is 1 player who I would like to make the starting Eleven, and that's Denis Politic. He is an exciting player to watch, saw him play a couple of years ago in the youth team and thought the same then. Yes, he's still young but hopefully will gain experience in the 1st team as he (hopefully) play...

Re: New ownership - Football Ventures

I have been on "a reading brief only" during our takeover, as it affected me more than I could have ever imagined, dreading the thought of never having a club to support. ANYWAY, I feel like somebody reborn, and it feels like a breath of fresh air with new enthusiasm for my club. I have only missed ...

Re: The next manager

I agree Tango, although there was all the off field stuff going on and having to be taken into account, the one thing that made me stay away from the last few matches was the turgid stuff going on, on the pitch. I just couldn't sit and watch it, it was horrible. That will be the one reason I wont re...

Why would the EFL pay the staff wages? I thought they were only able to help with the players wages?

Re: It's on god dammit! It's sooofolking on! BWFC v Ipswich 6/4/2019 3pm

well, at least Paul Heathcote came to all the tables to explain the situation with why there was no catering. £170,000 they're owed and been owed for 6 weeks. Decided this morning to not do any catering, and Paul Aldridge was begging him to carry on, and he refused. Oh, and the safety steward in cha...

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

Emergency SAG meeting just started re Saturday's game. Hopefully folks get paid and game gets played. But from whose bank account? PFA with EFL backing would be my guess. No stewards or pie sellers. No police (except to police no fans). No ambulance, no anything. Previous non payed concerns will ge...

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

I think this Bassini thing is scary, but interesting. I've been reading "Howard's" intake on another forum (who hasn't?) and if you read back....He knew that the Basran Group didn't have enough money to do a takeover. He also knew about this "Mystery Bidder" (the one who has allegedly bought Moonshi...

I couldn't care less about this game. IMO we were relegated months ago with Parky in charge. What is more important is off the field issues. This could have been our last game anyway

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

I'm trying to keep up to speed on this. This HMRC Debt. Do the buyers or Anderson need to pay this before the transfer of shares takes place? I'm totally confused. Or can the purchasers buy and then roll up in court and settle? Anybody know?
