Re: General Chit Chat

Condolences BWFCi . Life at the moment is precious and I think we have all taken for granted how fortunate most of us are. Having now worked in Funeral Directors for just over 2 years now, I now know what the term 'snowed under' means, sadly. Hope everyone on here remains safe, as I and my fellow co...

Re: Onwards and Downwards: 2020 transfer speculation thread.

Pleased with the Faal signing, and what a move for him as well! If the move comes off and he does well I will be made up. BWFC have not found a "rough diamond" for years, and It's good that we are looking at players like this. Hopefully more to come

Re: Onwards and Downwards: 2020 transfer speculation thread.

Rumours are that we have signed Muhammadu Faal, striker from non-league Enfield (supposedly had him on trial earlier in the season?),
I just love rumours in the transfer window, makes you dream a little. Anyway, if true we might have the next Jamie Vardy!

Re: Wham, bam, thank you, Stan - Accrington S (A), 3pm, 23 November

I'm usually quite vocal about folk who leave before the end, and that anyone who missed the closing moments of the MKD game got their just rewards, but me, BP, Genshaw and Mrs Genshaw all looked at each other on 80 minutes and declared we'd had enough. To make matters worse, Mrs G's not my pal anym...

Re: Wham, bam, thank you, Stan - Accrington S (A), 3pm, 23 November

When I saw the penalty for the 1st time yesterday at the match, it looked like a poor decision by the Ref, (not a red). Looked at again and I stand by my first thought, it wasn't a red. Unless Earl said something afterwards? Even so, the next poorest decision is seeing Hill dithering about on the to...

EFL are just a shambles, they really are. You knew it wasn't the end result because we got GOOD NEWS guys!! #bwfc don't get good news without bad news soon following.
We will deal with whatever anyone throws at us. :Jedi:

Re: It's Rochdale....again. Rochdale (H) 19th October 2019 15:00

Injuries are really taking their toll. We can't keep losing senior players, playing young ones out of position and expect to get any kind of result. After saying that, we did ok 1st half and it was pretty even. But we are a 60 minute team and ran out of steam. We also missed Bridcutt. Did Sonny Grah...

Re: I wish I'd never left Bolton...v Blackpool H. 8-0 clock 7-10-19.

enjoyed the game last night and noticing just how much fitter they are looking with each passing game. I think Blackpool will be challenging for promotion this season, they are an organised side, but I'm really loving how our style has changed and now look forward to each matchday and I'm not really...

Re: Grabbing life by the bullocks. Oxford (H) 17.9.19 KO 8pm

I loved that game of football last night. It was entertaining, easy on the eye and we should have been 4 nil up within the first 20 minutes. Yes we as still a work in progress and we may even get another battering on Saturday, but who knows we will have done some more training on fitness and getting...

Re: Grabbing life by the bullocks. Oxford (H) 17.9.19 KO 8pm

Has anybody seen Hill's pre-match video for tonight's game? Hill is quite insistent where he is not looking at the scoreboard and whether we lose or not. He says he is trying to get his message across to the players on how HE wants to plays, his ethos. So I'm thinking I'm not looking too emotionally...

A bit of positivity. We had a good first 5 minutes and the fans celebrated like we had won the FA Cup :) On the rest of the game, lets just say there is a lot of work to be done. I'm looking forward to League 2!

Re: What is our best starting eleven?

There is 1 player who I would like to make the starting Eleven, and that's Denis Politic. He is an exciting player to watch, saw him play a couple of years ago in the youth team and thought the same then. Yes, he's still young but hopefully will gain experience in the 1st team as he (hopefully) play...

Re: New ownership - Football Ventures

I have been on "a reading brief only" during our takeover, as it affected me more than I could have ever imagined, dreading the thought of never having a club to support. ANYWAY, I feel like somebody reborn, and it feels like a breath of fresh air with new enthusiasm for my club. I have only missed ...
