It is a real shame but seriously undermines any idea of him staying next season . Can't really keep a striker who is out as much as he's available especially if Heskey stays . Reckon it's either or with those two and a less injury prone target man will be priority this summer .

That's a decent move for hall . Hope he gets regular games there . This Liverpool lad , well the only point is if we may be able to keep him.not short of midfield options now but it is funny seeing so many in the squad after Lennon came in and moaned about having too many when he arrived .

I'm pretty sure I read he was out of contract in the summer and either hoping for a new one or available with tribunal set compo so was hoping he'd be a possible signing this summer . Best to make him feel at home without giving him too much chance to impress if that's the case
