Re: Will we Feelgood on Tuesday? Southend Utd (A), 4/4/17, 19:45
What a turnaround from last season, the number of times we've lost all 3 points in the closing minutes. I think PP and our defence are owed a lot of praise, we've conceded 34 goals this season in 41 games, as against 81 goals last season in 46 games. I thought losing Clough would be a big mistake, b...

Bolton winning was fantastic, Bradford and Bury losing was even better, just a shame about the Scunthorpe result, would have been a perfect day otherwise.

Re: Out, damned Spotland, I say. Rochdale (A) 27/9/16
Well I'd like to thank the wally, who declared to Colin Murray on talk sport after winning 3 games, that he couldn't see us losing a game all season. I choked on my butty as soon as he said it. Talk about kiss of death. I think he should be first in line to be tarred and feathered. Perhaps the playe...

I think to stop the rot is always the hardest thing to do. Whether you`re playing in a lower league or not, when the chips are down, it`s very hard to shake off the mentality of losing. PP has done a cracking job of establishing a bit of confidence back in the team, and belief goes a long way.

Re: A big hello, from the WRONG side of the Pennines
I remember the Cellophane Bags with the Biscuits, Dairy Lea Triangle and Pickled onion too, those were the days :D As kids we always had to sit outside the pub with mum and nan, whilst dad and granddad went in and got leathered. Nowadays, it`s the kids who run riot in the pubs, and the parents who s...

Re: Which muppet can we appoint next?
I like Neil Warnock as a personality, but not sure he`d be the man for BWFC. I think he`d always be tempted to head for another club for more money / status if the opportunity arose. I personally would like to see someone like a Roy Keane character who would grab the bull by the b*ll*cks and sort ou...

Re: A big hello, from the WRONG side of the Pennines
Thankfully I am told that I still have a strong Lancashire accent, however when I go to seem my cousins in bolton and bury this weekend I`m sure it will not seem the case. A fellow lancastrian told me that my vowels were now well and truly buggered. On a plus note, I haven`t yet acquired a flat cap ...

A big hello, from the WRONG side of the Pennines
First and foremost, a big hello to everyone. I was born in Tonge Moor part of Bolton, 40 something years ago, and was dragged kicking and screaming over the pennines not long after. I was baptized into the BWFC fold by my granddad, who gave me a rather nifty flock sticker which read "I am a loyal su...
