Re: Villainous Intent. V Aston Villa away Friday 02-11-18 7-45.

i'm on my hols and watching this on a blurred feed on dodgy wifi. I'm also well on my way to being half cut. Do you know the worst thing - i keep hearing the commentator mentioning villa players John McGinn and someone who sounds like Cotcher - and for a split second I think he's talking about JJ or...

Re: Hail the conquering heroes come.......Bolton V Hull, 3-0'clock Sat 27th Oct.

I'd agree. We're all disappointed at the recent run of games, but we need to put that in perspective - all we are doing is playing at our right level. The fact that we over-achieved (massively) at the start is a welcome bonus, and gives us a bit of breathing space, buts its certainly not our normal ...

Yes they are - he's brain washed into defensive non creative football - which is why it really surprises me that some supporters think he can do absolutely no wrong (IMO he needs to go & see a shrink to try and change his negative, dour mindset - he needs someone to convince him that attacking foot...

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

Presumably we owe the money to Eddies estate. Let’s hope his family are as big Wanderers fans as Eddie was. Another interesting chapter in Ken’s ownership. I wonder what the Davies family think of Ken? Why would they think anything of him? Seems to me that the money was provided by ED in good faith...

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

It gets stranger and stranger. So Ken knew he had the money (or at least the bulk of it) before he put out a statement saying we were entering administration. So why all the drama? All the drama was probably because KA thought administration was a very likely outcome. I suspect he thought he had en...

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

Sure, that's fair. Perhaps it's the deed itself that grates more. Shall we presume that KA'd already factored in that that would be the likely outcome of his frankly astounding "oh well f#ck it, admin it is boys" statement just prior The papers filed at Companies House were dated 7th September - th...

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

BN comments are most often crass but who can argue with this: "So no mention of any gratitude from Anderson to Davies for paying off the bulk of the debt. Even though it was his last act & the official statement thanking Warburton & James came out just after ED had died. He's a classy operator that...

[quote=BWFC_Insane post_id=1062291 time=1537259806 user_id=1474 You will get some bad results with a cheaply assembled group of players in this league. But equally we are better than last season and I’m not sure what anyone could realistically ask beyond that? [/quote] Spot on - and this is the crit...

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

Starting to wonder now..... If administration is triggered staff have to be informed first. Equally, if staff had been informed that we were officially in administration, surely word wo...

Re: Blunting the Blades and walking on the Wilder side? BWFC v Sheffield Utd 25/8/18

In what way has he improved anything? The sheer dreariness of watching his sides play football has far more 'tediousness' factor than Coyle's side. To be honest I'd welcome Coyle, Lennon, or Freedman back, knowing they'd plummet, but at least give me some 'entertainment'. The facetious argument he ...
