Re: A Roving, A Roving. Away to Bristol, Tues Mar 11th 19-45

Really weird game last night. There was no atmosphere in the ground and that seemed to translate onto the pitch. Everyone just seemed off it. I live local and have seen a few games at the Mem, but we were probably one of the quietest crowds they’ve had there. A few local lads were overheard saying h...

Evatt to get the job and meet us in the playoffs?

Stranger things have happened.

The BN article on the imminent return of CMG feels like an attempt at good news before bad. The brief (blink and you miss it) reference to Vic suggests they already know he’s out for a while. Light up top if so.

Re: No welcome in the Hillsides. Away to Wrexham Sat 1 March 12-30.

Finally got around to watching the Orient game (things take a while to reach the South West). But watching all those injuries occur, particularly to Mcatee and Vic, makes me worry we’ll have a light squad come Saturday. But you can really see the togetherness and confidence again, so even with injur...

Wrexham seem to be able to get forward a bit quicker. We need a bit of width higher up the pitch.

Lolos decent so far. Haha what’s the opposite of jinx? What’s he done wrong? I’m just not convinced he’s got anything in his locker that’s going to be a game changer. He looks slow and his touch isn’t great. When he runs it we usually end up with him losing the ball. I’d love him to be good. I just...

If Lolos is the answer, I’m really not sure what the question is.

Re: Creeping Northwards. At home to Crawley Town, Sat 8th FEB 3-0'clock.

I was out and about today and am gutted to have missed it. As a technical Luddite, is there any way I can watch the whole game back? I don’t feel like the 2 minute sky sport highlight reel is going to cut it this time. Full 90 is on Wanderers TV now. Thanks for the heads up! Telly tonight sorted. L...

Re: Who's the Rioch to Evatt's Neal?

I was going to start a discussion on this the other day after I watched his unveiling at Stoke video. He just went through all the usual platitudes there. Which is a shame because it made him look like he didn't actually have much to say. My guess for here would be: "The factilities are great." "The...

Re: Who's the Rioch to Evatt's Neal?

There's got to be very little chance that they rip up the entire play book having built up an 'identity' throughout all levels of the club.

So Steve Evans has to be nothing but journalist chatter.

I hope.

Re: The ianevattable sacking

This might be controversial, but f*ck it. I'm entitled to an opinion too. (And of course whilst I'm writing we make our decision. Typical.) TL/DR: I'd keep Evatt over any of the potential replacements currently being talked about. He has done nothing to deserve the level of vitriol being thrown at h...

Re: Should I(E) stay or should I(E) go?

The silence from the club is deafening.

To my mind, the worst of all worlds is that the club wait until now to take action. Leaving us miles behind in terms of prep for the upcoming season.

I only half care what Per Frandsen has to say. I REALLY care what IE and SB have to say.

Re: Should I(E) stay or should I(E) go?

Good insight. Which begs the question, is defence the symptom or the cause? Would the back three be more comfortable with someone more robust than Sheehan in front of it? Or someone better at covering the crosses/runs from the wing than JDC and Williams. I think.the answer to both has to be 'yes'. S...
