Re: Pre-season 2025

Sorry, Twitter embed playing up.

Worthy - word from Marbella seems to be that there is indeed a lot of defensive work going on.

Re: Schu me the way to Amarillo - Summer 2025 Transfer Thread

Just out of interest, if McNeilly was to join say Chorley for instance would the development fee get waived? Seems like development fee is a preventative measure for them progressing their career. Presumably he could then get loaned to us on a free. Shady dealings of course, but I did have to wonde...

Re: Schu me the way to Amarillo - Summer 2025 Transfer Thread

A name that I wonder might be on our radar is Ethan Wheatley . 19 year old Stockport born striker who's currently on United's books, but presumably won't get much of a sniff there this season with their expected incomings. Disappointing loan spell with Walsall at the back-end of last season, but sc...

One or two saying that it may be Stockport that he's going to ?
Or Charlton apparently.
Nixon saying Charlton have offered £750k, so you imagine that's that.

Re: League One 25/26 - the Runners and Riders, or Schumacher's First Strike

Barnsley have signed a bloke who's nearly 38. He's bound to score against us, though, given it's David McGoldrick. More ominously, Luton have made what I'm journalistically obliged to call a 'triple swoop' for three players mentioned on here before: Nahki Wells (striker, Bristol City, free), Hakeem...

Re: Schu me the way to Amarillo - Summer 2025 Transfer Thread

Indeed, if Hutch could get higher than the National League then great, but it seems quite unlikely. As we know, League Two teams are well able to get Prem loanee keepers. My prediction is that Hutch, Inwood and Sonny Sharples will all get National League loans before the summer transfer window clos...

Re: Schu me the way to Amarillo - Summer 2025 Transfer Thread

I wouldn’t assume that normally but clearly in TSL’s case he’s earmarked as the first choice . Aye, on the record now. Schumacher: "I spoke to Luke [Southwood] and told him that I’d be bringing him (Sharman-Lowe) in as number one. I had no problem with Luke being around us, competing for the shirt ...

Struggling to understand why he would want 2 more goalkeepers
I would guess that this means Hutchinson will be loaned out.
I would assume nobody knows where Hutch’s ceiling is, so that would seem a good idea.

Re: Schu me the way to Amarillo - Summer 2025 Transfer Thread

Struggling to understand why he would want 2 more goalkeepers “We'll be bringing in another one who's experienced to push Teddy all the way. And then we'll be bringing in a third goalkeeper at some stage as well.” Now, that’s a bit vague - he could mean next summer - but it’s interesting that we’ve...

The 36 looks to me like Daeshon Lawrence (who last year wore 54), but as I say my facial recognition skillz aren't 'crack'. Probably just me and thee interested in this, DSB - buy Luke Hutchinson spotted in the back of shot in the most recent Wanderers Twitter update - can't make out the 2nd digit,...

So, for TW15 and anyone else who might care, some supposition and possible misinformation from pixellated screengrabs. Welcome to summer! Please correct me if I'm wrong, and help me with the last one. . pic 1.jpg . Looks to me like Sharman-Lowe takes #1, Cozier-Duberry takes an upsetting #2 (someone...

Re: Schu me the way to Amarillo - Summer 2025 Transfer Thread

Rankin Costello would be great but I feel maybe out of our wage budget? Possibly, but he's never left the club (barring switching from Yernited aged 14) so he's never had the new-job pay-bump. Doesn't mean he's still within our range, like. And of course with any of these "how about...?" names (eg ...

Re: Pre-season 2025

I mean isn’t that how fascism or extremist movements have thrived historically? A lot of ‘well I mean these people are our customers we can’t do a lot about it’? I know what you are saying but I’d rather hope we are (I mean society, business broadly here) better than that now but seemingly not. If ...

Elsewhere, I see that utter **** Cosgrove is playing in an Untouchables 11 match for an out of contract side at Worksop Town tonight.
