Re: We Must Beat-a-borough - Away v Peterborough, Sat Apr 27th 12:30

Burton gonna get lucky by the looks of it. There’s motivation to win the play offs! Not play on that fecking farmyard of a pitch again! Yeah I was just gonna post that if Cheltenham get a win they'd push Burton under - but then Cheltenham conceded at Stevenage, another of Those Sorts. Oh well, ne'e...

Reading equalise v Blackpool, whose odds thus lengthen further.

Even though we twatted Oxford last time, I’d probably prefer we got Lincoln.
I dunno. I think Oxford are "our sort of opponents". Would fancy us to get a decent result at theirs and a good one at ours.

Oxford 2 up at Exeter, so they're doing their bit. Still 6th as it stands and hosting us next weekend.

Re: We Must Beat-a-borough - Away v Peterborough, Sat Apr 27th 12:30

Peterborough a very weird side. Were on great form but they don't look much - maybe making so many changes in midweek and then back again, maybe that they've lost impetus as Derby kept winning. Hard to put momentum back on, which is a reason a good win for us here would be doubly lovely Quite incre...

I'm not sure on Peterborough's marketing. Posh! Bosh!

What's that all about?
It’s John Fisher, father of heavyweight boxer Johnny Fisher, whose catchphrase is ‘Bosh!’
So it'd be like us having a picture of Peter Kay's dad saying "Rola-Cola, give us a goal-a"

Good linkup between AC & DC and Demps doing well to make up the numbers in the box. Nice.

Re: We Must Beat-a-borough - Away v Peterborough, Sat Apr 27th 12:30

Barnsley, by the way, have conceded two or more goals in each of their last seven games. One clean sheet in the last 18 games - a 0-0 at home to Cheltenham, who are in the relegation zone. I suspect that may be a case of resting on their laurels given how many points ahead they were ahead (and inde...

Re: We Must Beat-a-borough - Away v Peterborough, Sat Apr 27th 12:30

Oxford winning at Exeter. Means they go 5th, Blackpool 6th, Barnsley and Lincoln out Booo, I think. Not sure who I want really - pluses and minuses to all of them. Oxford we demolished, so that's a plus, but they've also come good again. Blackpool aren't very good, but we'd have to overcome that Bl...

Re: Re: Twixt Cups and Lips. Home to Shrewbury Town, Tuesday Apr 16th 7-45.

I've been so confident that things will go our way. Didn;t see that coming last night a joke of a game. The referees are not just complicit in football being ruined, they actively encourage it. Ref telling the keeper to go to the other side of the area, then giving him the thumbs up. Deliberately t...
