Bridcutt in on loan confirmed.
Excellent signing, both Bridcutt & Verlinden are great signings for League 1

Re: Onwards and Downwards: 2020 transfer speculation thread.

Early rumours, all loans I think - Jake Wright (Sheff Utd) CB signed, Stoke City winger Thibaud Verlinden having a medical & Liam Bridcutt Forest also rumoured to be close to signing.

Re: The next manager

Not massivelyyyyy convinced by this one but obviously I'll back him. Not ecstatic not despondent either, as fans we need to cut him some slack which I figure he will and should get until at least the end of the season given where we are. This.... but it comes across as the cheapest option for FV, b...

Re: The next manager

Sounds like Pearson is an ambitious managerial target for FV, which would do for me - I'd like Pearson as Manager or if not Nolan, I don't want Hill.

Oh god yeah. Striker is absolute nails. But we need winners too. They look more likely.
This, a striker is an absolute priority but we do need players with a hard working, winning mentality which is why getting the right manager in is important.

Re: New ownership - Football Ventures

I have to say it all sounds very positive, open & honest - a new start with sensible proper business people - I'm sure the fans will like what they hear & will get behind FV. Personally I liked the '3 year fully funded plan' and 'putting in not taking out' Lets just all try & move on from KA and bac...

Re: Ken Anderson - New Owner (Definitely. For Now ..... )

I see that the c*nt's walked away with £240K. Then there's the small matter of the £5m he borrowed from ED which the EDT have waived. Absolute c*nt. £7.5M Bruce. The cheeky bastard. I'm in no way defending Anderson, but he's walked away with £240k not £7.5M, as most of the £7.5M he borrowed off EDT...

Re: The next manager

Lots of rumours (just rumours) that the job is Nolan's, I'd probably prefer him to Hill (as apparently although he's a Bolton lad he's a Man Utd fan). Nolan would probably help galvanise the club. I'd still like to think that even given everything we have been through, we are still an attractive job...

Hobbs?
Yes should be - wasn't he signed subject to the takeover going ahead, so he should be a shoe in I would have though.

At last we can move on & start talking / arguing about the football, everyone's next thought will be who our next manager will be.

Awful news - I feel really sorry for all Bury FC fans and employees this morning, it’s a very sad day but you will be back.

We are certainly not out of the woods yet, and this could be us soon enough.

Re: Administration and recovery

https://twitter.com/reluctantnicko/status/1166248961411301376 Just throwing this out there... Sounds more plausible than the Kamanis that’s for sure. The problem I have is that if they want the club they need to make a bid. Quickly. Yet haven’t even seen the books supposedly. So not sure how that w...

Re: Administration and recovery

Reading an article in the telegraph says all the trouble is about indemnity from possible future civil action against Ken Anderson. If we're liquidated does this all dissappear for him? If so then what does he have to lose? I can only assume this means the Doidge deal and potentially others. Even i...

Re: Administration and recovery

Apparently the Kamani's have just come out this morning and said that they are not interested in either the club or the hotel - so it really is FV or nothing. So it sounds like its all down to KA & Keir Gordon to agree on whatever it is that KA wants changing in the agreement that was ready to be si...
