Re: What's the collective noun for a group of wheelchair bound detectives? Newport County at home. 26th Sep 2020 3.00pm

I'm not sure about Crellin - his positional sense seems poor and he does appear prone to a mistake in every game. We need experience in goal (especially with Santos at CB) not a youngster with only a handful of 1st team games who was on loan at Chorley last season. I also agree with the officer that...

Evatt needs to drop Santos, he's a fcuking carthorse, he played in non league for a reason - Delaney IMO is a much better & proven CB at this level, and he can't keep playing Comley & White as they are both soft as shite, we need someone with some bottle and drive (Tutte ?) who can at least fight & ...

The abandonment of the 3-5-2 formation already, is worrying. Evatt looks like he's scrabbling around hoping to stumble on a winning formula without us being remotely close to getting the basics right yet. HG I agree this is also my concern, we apparently recruited 'money ball' style specifically to...

A few rumours that apparently we are close to signing Lloyd Isgrove - a winger I think.

Evans to Bradford confirmed
As Bruce has pointed out it sounds like Evans was never a target for Evatt - he (Evatt) says that we are after a couple of forward / attacking players.

Re: Can we be-a-tad little shellfish and make this the U-turn of the season? Colchester United Away 19th Sep 2020 15:00p

Yes Delfouneso played well, and he can come deep or wide and he can also run at players with the ball - but then if he's being asked to do that then we need another out & out striker to partner Doyle. When he's played for other teams, I always thought of Delfouneso as a winger more than a central st...

Re: Summer 2020 transfers

I think the lack of options from the bench yesterday outlined that we need attacking options in quickly, not wait until a few days before the window closes - this doesn't necessarily mean another centre forward, it could mean another No10 option or if he is now to play 4 at the back perhaps a winger...

I will admit I'm a little confused in regards to Evatt's comments when he first got the job, we will press the opposition and impose our football on them & we will be the fittest club in the league, we are starting pre season a few weeks earlier than everyone else - where is the evidence of this. BT...

Still 100% behind Evatt, but this has to be an all time low for the club - lose at home to Forest Green and lose away to Colchester Utd in League 2. Its school boy defending for the free header at the back post for the 1st & what was Crellin doing for the 2nd - trying to stay positive but I have to ...

Re: Summer 2020 transfers

I'm 100% behind Evatt, but this waiting for David Ball for a few weeks even though he was still under contract is a bit daft - so we've put everything else on hold transfer wise & waited 2-3 weeks for a striker that we didn't know was even going to be released.

Plymouth fans saying that Sarce is more of a box to box midfielder not a No10, therefore I'm not sure why he's being played at 10 by BWFC, perhaps it would be better to swap them around and push Crawford further forward ?

Evatt will turn this around I have absolutely no doubt, its only 1 game however disappointing the performance was. We have some decent players at this level, who will gel with game time - Doyle, Sarce, Fonz & Ali Crawford, 4 quality players at this level. It will take Evatt a few games to decide on ...

Re: Wrecking Crewe - In search of a Tin Pot to piss in. Crewe Alex (H). FL Trophy 7PM 8/9/2020

I think that's its quite a risk playing so many 1st team players in a meaningless competition especially up front - lets hope that we don't pick up any serious injuries as with Crawford last year. I understand the need to gel & play together etc. but surely Saturday is the priority to try and get of...

Do you not think that was an overreaction to a tongue in cheek post? You seem very wound up. Get some fresh air.
No squire its tiresome - you do it on a regular basis, anyone else can post but you have a dig at almost anything that I post- but include a 'wink' to make it appear jovial.

Re: Summer 2020 transfers

We need people who can stop us conceding 2 a game...not many teams score 3 a game. We haven’t seen Delaney or the other centre half (Reiss whatshisface) yet. IMO Delaney is better than Santos, Reiss Greenidge sounds like the best of the new defensive bunch but is apparently injured - but he needs t...
