Re: Trotting over the Yellowbellies to three points - Lincoln City (A) 14/01/20

I'm a bit surprised most fans would have been confident avoiding the drop. At no point have I thought we'd avoid the drop. But yes please to more organisation and less capitulation... Only for a week or so around the time the initial decision came through about the suspended 5 points, we had also j...

Re: Trotting over the Yellowbellies to three points - Lincoln City (A) 14/01/20

He can go f**k himself to be honest - It's getting embarrassing I'm not saying he should be sacked, but I'd be relieved if he walked away before he inflicts any further damage upon us. This season is a write off, but even so, just try and be hard to beat, organised and make a fist of the games. He'...

Re: Trotting over the Yellowbellies to three points - Lincoln City (A) 14/01/20

Hill's post-match comments - https://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/18160319.lincoln-city-5-bolton-wanderers-1---keith-hills-post-match-reaction/ A bit more measured this time. I watched his interview on the club website. Incomprehensible stream of consciousness garbage. I’m not sure he knows what p...

By jove this Hill's a good one isn't he chaps - one thinks that he should really be managing in a league beginning with the word 'Sunday'.

They get one chance and score. We can't even create a single chance. This lot will even struggle in the bottom league, simply not good enough.
Same old problem, can't find the net haunts us again.

Dj, so its ok for you to say "Bright start has dwindled away into a defensive exercise. Getting boring this now" but I can't say It'll be fine Hill knows his onions" ?

Re: Trotting over the Yellowbellies to three points - Lincoln City (A) 14/01/20

It'll be fine, Keith knows his onions - being an ex CB he's good at defensive organisation we obviously practise stopping crosses & defensive headers in training.

Perhaps he meant the defence when he said no one is on the same page

Re: Up Hill and down 'Dale - Rochdale (A), 3:00pm, 11/01/20

Hill just needs to wind his neck and his ego in & start winning a few games, he's almost got a free ride this season.

He'll know what criticism is next season, if we have a poor start in League 2.

Re: Onwards and Downwards: 2020 transfer speculation thread.

Chicksen and Earl are very odd. Certainly Chicksen. Was he brilliant? No. But seemed to be 6 out of ten at least every week. Which is worth a lot. Probably not good enough for an assault on the top end of league one but certainly good enough to be a league 2 stalwart in my view. Why he is going is ...

Re: Up Hill and down 'Dale - Rochdale (A), 3:00pm, 11/01/20

The worst part for me was “keep putting my neck on the line”, like he’s doing us a favour. He was out of work having been sacked by Rochdale, its not like he turned down other jobs to manage us, as I said earlier I may be wrong but I'm sure that he actually approached FV not the other way around. He...

Re: Up Hill and down 'Dale - Rochdale (A), 3:00pm, 11/01/20

Its all about him, he could have come out & said how well young Hamilton played but he chose to make it all about him and have a go at everyone - when he actually hadn't even been criticised. I honestly cant see much of a future for him after this outburst, the man's a liability every time he opens ...

Re: Up Hill and down 'Dale - Rochdale (A), 3:00pm, 11/01/20

He does have issues because he thinks that he's better than he is, when in reality he's only a very average league 2 level manager who only got the job because he was from Bolton and was cheap as fcuk - and I've never heard anyone compare Hill with Big Sam - listening to that again he comes across a...

Re: Up Hill and down 'Dale - Rochdale (A), 3:00pm, 11/01/20

Another load of incoherent bollocks by Hill in his post match interview on GMR. I'm not going to give him grief for the footballing side as it stands, but good God he spouts some drivel and I've taken a very strong dislike to him. Just listened to it, what a pathetic up his own arse rant - he says ...

Re: Onwards and Downwards: 2020 transfer speculation thread.

Nsiala confirmed. Loan to the end of the season. Ipswich fans don't appear to rate him, but if he can recapture his Shrewsbury form from a couple of years ago he'll be decent for us, he was highly rated which is why Ipswich paid decent money for him (was it £2M for him and a player called Nolan ?).

And for anyone wanting Wheater back watch the goals that Oldham conceded today at Cheltenham, shocking defending - he's an absolute carthorse.

That's a blow 😊
I don't particularly rate him, I only posted as an update in response to the previous Nicholaldo post

Re: Contract expiry

It seems Verlinden's loan has come to an end and possibly Bridcutt's too. https://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/18132270.amp/?__twitter_impression=true Hill sounds like he's been caught unawares. Shouldn't both of these situations have been discussed with their parent clubs over the past few weeks?...
