Re: The Politics Thread

Rubbish! sorry but total utter rubbish, there are a growing number of people accross the country who believe our courts are going the route of not fit for purpose and the fact these people are pat on the back jobby's not even remotely answerable to anyone makes it worse. Hmm... interesting ideas......

Re: The Bolton Babes

Some interestingly candid comments from Hill about the babes... “These young lads have got to look forward to training every single day,” the manager said. “They have got to get out of bed every morning and be excited about coming in and developing to be the best possible player they can be. “I want...

Re: The Politics Thread

I mean it was decided 11-0. 11 experienced judges have all independently come to the same conclusion. Without being party to all the evidence submitted, I’m happy to go with that as a fairly robust decision. Great. Good for you. Colours nailed. The establishment establishes itself ever more fervent...

Re: The Politics Thread

Labour could do worse than tempt Ed back and have a Stalinist purge of Momentum (oh the irony) & nail their flag to a remain/leave with a deal ticket yeah - but nobody can be PM unless they are bacon-sandwich confident (apparently!) as for "stalinist purges" (though I suspect that language is a bit...

Re: General Chit Chat

"The vote urging Ms Harman to reconsider her candidacy was initially tied at 21 to 21 but a recount saw the motion passed by 26 to 22." I guess numeracy isn't a strong point within the Camberwell and Peckham Labour Party. I don't know for sure - but I suspect that by "recount" they mean a second sh...

Re: Rugby World Cup (RWC 19)

Anybody who really knows rugby prepared to comment on England's 35-3 win over Tonga? My limited knowledge of the game can't compete with folk brought up with the sport (which I think you must be to truly understand it) I know a lot more than I once did and rarely miss England games on T.V (which so...

Fair enough - i kinda had in mind an actual "thing" like a policy of summat rather than some kind of list of women you are scared of... but, hey, it takes all sorts! 😎 Loathing is far from scared me 'owd sparrow Which policy do you want to start with? Well - as i think i asked (and really just out ...

Re: What a load of bollocks.

I hardly think letting boys dance with boys or girls dance with girls is controversial! Same sex dance couples is becoming more common certainly in modern dance, so why not reflect that on the show? Aye... i thought the key to the format was celebs being taught how to dance whilst facing weekly vot...

Re: Will Hill thrill us at the Millers? Rotherham (A) Sat 14 Sep, 3pm

I think it's a bit early to panic about shipping 4 goals every game. I also think it's a bit early to be writing the manager off as naive or tactically inept. I think hill and flitcroft will have learned lots - i think there is a very real sense that a couple of weeks training in an international br...

Re: What a load of bollocks.

According to some media reports (The Guardian being one who commented) there has been talk of the organisers of Strictly Come Dancing discussing the future possibilities of same-sex partner dancing in the show. Without getting too deep into it, that will surely be like dropping a match in a box of ...

Re: Will Hill thrill us at the Millers? Rotherham (A) Sat 14 Sep, 3pm

It was the most likely outcome. A team of unwanted strangers thrown together were likely to take some beatings. And thus it happened. I will say there was some naivety on display today. Leaving full backs exposed having a midfield press so high up the pitch with no cover. Leaving three up front fir...
