Great result, if not for the relief, confidence and hopefully a little bit of belief that the players (and manager) can take forward from today. I'm under no illusions it was 'only' Harrogate but a win is a win

Now this is a substitution I thought might happen. Crawford for Comley. Will Sarcevic drop back and allow Crawford to push forward or will the team keep it's original shape? Will be interesting to see.

Re: Pre-Season Friendlies
That's the highs and lows of pre-season. Injuries occur for any number of reasons, fitness not up to speed, trying too hard to impress, impulsiveness etc. I know we feel we've had a hex on us in recent years with regards to injuries but I bet there are other clubs fans who think the same.

Re: Summer 2020 transfers
Here's a bit of a radical thought? Seeing as he's stated that he wants another couple of bodies for further up the pitch and possibly another defender or two would it be beyond the realms of possibility that he's considering sending Alexander out on loan as one of those to make space? It's pointless...

Re: Summer 2020 transfers
That could be a good move for him as he already knows the club, team and set-up so should slot straight in. That and the fact that he has already started pre-season should make him sharper and ready for the off. So far I've been impressed with the way the club is being managed.

Re: Summer 2020 transfers
Depends if the gaffer views Politic as a make shift striker? Or perhaps altering his 5-3-2 to a 4-2-3-1 if injuries struck? I reckon Darcy, Politic, Alexander and Brockers are the only youngsters with a shout of not going out on loan.
It's definitely something to ponder until the season kicks off.
