Re: Schu me the way to Amarillo - Summer 2025 Transfer Thread
We’ve overpaid for some players under Evatt, Nlundulu, Randall and possibly Vic spring to mind, but I reckon we’ll get at least what we paid for Collins if not more. I am surprised though that Warne wants him, he doesn’t look like a Paul Warne type player to me.

Re: Schu me the way to Amarillo - Summer 2025 Transfer Thread
Rumours that Huddersfield are after him as well, and they have a very rich owner. It’s a potential bidding war if that’s the case, but I wouldn’t want home going to a rival.

Re: Financiers, investors and white knights: What next for FV?
Sheffield Wednesday didn’t pay their players or staff last Friday, it’s not the first time either under their owner. Players out of contract aren’t signing new deals and other clubs are sniffing around their players and manager. All the best to Wednesday and their fans I’m still grateful to FV for r...

Re: Division Three, 2024/25
Yep they look like the three relegated teams to me. B’Jaysus, I read it after I posted and still didn’t see it. Of course I meant the 3 relegated teams are favourites for promotion. I presume Luton are favourites because of the parachute money they’re still receiving. Cardiff and Etete, nah! Not fo...

Re: Division Three, 2024/25
Before a transfer has been completed, the bookies have the 3 promoted teams as favourites for promotion.
We’re rated 4th,
1. Luton
2. Cardiff
3. Plymouth
4. Bolton

Re: Schu me the way to Amarillo - Summer 2025 Transfer Thread
Oof - some damning numbers from Ilesy, at both ends: "Of the 33 goalkeepers in League One to have made 15 starts this season, Baxter ranks 26th and Southwood 30th for save percentage." "Wanderers have conceded 68 goals – the most since being relegated out of the Championship in 2018 – and have conc...

The reality of what Schumacher now has to deal with. I presume, macatee, lolos and Randall are the three players he’s referring to. https://x.com/bwfcfans/status/1914574231326572708?s=61 It is a problem. We couldn't figure it at the time and I suspect most are none the wiser now. Indeed, Randall wa...

Schumacher needs to start planning for next season, he’s probably realised how big a job he’s got to do after this week.

If Collins is badly injured, that could derail us for the season.

Re: No welcome in the Hillsides. Away to Wrexham Sat 1 March 12-30.
Maloney sacked at Wigan. Hire the wrong guy and that pathetic club could still go down. You’d hate to see it. I watched the EFL highlights this morning. They’ve resorted to putting advertising over rows of seats around the stadium. Extra revenue admittedly but trying to disguise how empty the stadi...

Re: No welcome in the Hillsides. Away to Wrexham Sat 1 March 12-30.
Maloney sacked at Wigan. I have to say, it'd be f**king hilarious to watch their fans if Wigan approach Evatt... although I don't know what would happen if he was in charge of Wigan vs Bolton, the universe might fold in on itself... [/quote] It would be funny, but I can’t see Evatt being interested...

The BN article on the imminent return of CMG feels like an attempt at good news before bad. The brief (blink and you miss it) reference to Vic suggests they already know he’s out for a while. Light up top if so. You may be right and Vic is a powerhouse who will be missed. Time for CMG to step up to...

Re: Schumacher’s super white army
I’m optimistic about Schumacher, but more enthusiastic about the coaching team around him. His two assistants and Schumacher have 7 promotions between them apparently. Bolton are a big club in this league and it has the ambition to do better, so, if he gets the same backing as IE had then the future...
