Re: What are you watching tonight?

The Shadow Line...very very good indeed. Nice to see another solid UK crime drama series.

Just a shame we're not good with much else apart from the occasional comedy, and Dr Who I suppose.

Not that 95% have to have one because they can't get a job without. Why should it reflect the "cream"? Because ...

Re: What are you watching tonight?

Win Win very amiable, we both enjoyed, made us laugh, made us feel, enjoyed a lot of the acting. Glad we saw. Watched it last night and thought very much the same. Thomas McCarthy's an excellent director, you should check out his other films The Station Agent and The Visitor if you've not seen them...

Re: Elmander signs for Galatasaray

Bolton manager Owen Coyle is aiming to use the funds freed up by Johan Elmander's imminent departure to bring in a signature signing. Elmander, 29, is ready for a new challenge in Turkey with Galatasaray when his contract ends next month. The Sweden striker is expected to play his last game for the...

Re: What are you watching tonight?

I watched Summer Hours (L'heure d'été). Got roundly praised by the critics, but I thought it was absolutely awful, perhaps the most boring film I've ever seen. It was like watching a Chekhov novel adapted to modern-day France devoid of any suspense, drama or interesting characters. Also, there was a...

Apparently they requested a room at the DW in which to sack him. Classless gesture from a classless club.
