Have any of the Argies been as talented as Maschereno and Tevez?
People seemed to rate Veron and Crespo highly.
There was a certain Ossie Ardilles and Ricci Villa.
Maybe. But why let facts get in the way of jealous clutching at straws?

That Egg toaster thingy was great. I'd buy one in a second if he ever gets it working.

Why do they need them? They've got youth teams full of world beaters haven't they?

Alan 'Foreigners are bad for the game' Pardew seems to have changed his tune quickly. Especially seen as he'll be leaving out any two out of Zamora/Harewood/Ashton and Lee Bowyer.

i think you're missing something in the humour AT. There's much hilarity raised by these sort of moves, which essentially create differences and more often than not are discrimination but of another kind. One of the finest examples of this, was the behaviour of a contestant on the most recent Big B...

I too suffer from a lack of inspiration. I'd rather not do things already done to death on the boards. My first outing should be up sometime next week. Should be fairly interesting too. Thats the plan anyway.

The Burchill thing is true. They interviewed a couple of T&T players about how he was fitting in and he said everyone referred to him as 'white boy'. It all seemed in good nature though.

I agree totally. Racism is seen as one way, as people believe only white people can be racist for whatever reason. Stuff like this annoys me though, like the Muslims only day they're having at Alton Towers soon. It'd be burnt to the ground if anyone suggested a white person/christians only day. Your...

I don't know the ins and outs, but like CAPSLOCK i'll accept that people make mistakes. And everyone at the time was shitting themselves. It's easy to say in hindsight that it should of been obvious that he wasn't a terrorist, or that they should of checked thoughroughly before sticking bulelts in h...

Grosso would be second for me. He was fantastic. I agree with Zidane being overrated at this WC too. He was poor in the group stages, brilliant against Brazil, then fairly average for the rest of the tournament.

I think that is ludicrous to have a go at Sven for that. With both teams playing for penalties. He put on an experienced and confident penalty taker in Carragher. Can you imagine being Lennon taking a pen, he'd shit himself.

I didn't cry. But it does show they care. Which will do for me. I also never liked the arguement that you're not aloud to cry over something unless it's the worst possible thing that is happening in the universe. In a game as emotionally draining as football can be, i'm not suprised many cried. Is E...

I think he's a decent footballer. He is however, not a striker . Or as good as KD. What is he then? A right winger? A crafty left winger? A floating midfield maestro in the Zidane mould? No, i think he's a forward. Like Davies. The difference being between a striker and a forward, is that a...

I'd be the same as Tango, oh and goal line technology too.

I'd also kick Cristiano Ronaldo out of football.

We we're cheated. Watch the game. Ronaldo from the kickoff was trying to get Rooney sent off. He even headbutted Rooney on the half way line trying to wind him up, before the game had started. Then Rooney got into a tussle, was fouled at least three times. Had nowhere to stand and in the tussle ende...
