Re: Financiers, investors and white knights: What next for FV?
I’m also not confident that the ones we’ve signed in that accounting period (Collins, Forrester, CMG, Dan) would be worth anywhere near what we spent on them. It doesn’t feel like too long ago that the plan was to buy players who we could make a profit on. Who was the last signing we could realistic...

Re: Financiers, investors and white knights: What next for FV?
It doesn’t feel sustainable does it. I await some analysis from someone more adept at company accounts to tell me that it’s all ok and not as bad as the headline figure makes out. If it is a genuine £11m loss, it does beg the question of how the hell we’re meant to survive. It doesn’t feel like we’r...

I’m not sure what’s the scarier prospect. He only had about 10 mins there on Tuesday but it feels like we all saw enough of Tommy at CB.sonicthewhite wrote: ↑Sat Mar 15, 2025 12:01 pmThomo must be playing LCB as I can't see Tutu playing LB.

It *feels* a bit flimsy. We’ll see how it turns out. Tutu in a back 4 with little protection ahead of him. Randall and Sheehan in in the middle.

Re: The Politics Thread
Abolishing NHS England. Feels like the right thing but devil will be in the detail. Agreed on both counts. Right to get rid. But need to see how DHSC works now and what happens to ICBs. More generally though it does feel to me like the government are finding their feet now and just going to go for ...

It felt like the game was crying out for someone to come on for us and slow the game down and give us control. Instead we had Tutu and CMG who are more the sort to take advantage of an open chaotic game but it didn’t work.
