Re: FA Cup Semi Final - Wembley
I've not read the full forum so I am not sure if this has been mentioned... Why have the FA put the semi-final on at the same time as Liverpool v Arsenal (4pm Sunday). They talk about the exercise of bringing back the magic to the cup yet they pull a stunt like that! So, that is Stoke, Liverpool and...

Re: Worried about Europe?
Just been reading this thread and naturally went on youtube to reminisce our European adventures and it got me thinking; how many fans did we take to Munich? And which game did we take the biggest away following to?
I went to Madrid, Munich and Marseille – all a bit of a blur now.

What a win!!
I'm moving down to Worcester at the end of the week so I'm looking forward to making the short trip up to st. Andrews for the quarters. It could be a great weekend....

Re: FA Cup fourth round replay: Wigan v Bolton
Two wins off a trip to wembley! But would take a replay against fulham and stuff them at our place.
Yet to concede when Wheater has been on the pitch, I make that over 4 hours of football. Going to make the trip down on Sunday for our biggest game of the season!
COYWM!!!!

Re: FA Cup fourth round replay: Wigan v Bolton
It's difficult to put my sentiment into words BWFCI, I just just think that 5 years in mid-table wouldn't make the reebok an enjoyable experience however historical that maybe. I suppose we have to accept that it would be very unlikely for any team to break into the top 6 of man u, Chelsea, spurs, a...

Re: FA Cup fourth round replay: Wigan v Bolton
It's the biggest game of the season tomorrow IMO. If we fail to win then we have nothing significant left to play for apart from the challenge of coming top in mid-table (between 8th and 12th). Eighth place would be a good achievement it is just the fact it would be the first time in many a season t...

Re: Nat Lofthouse statue
I've seen Fred Dibnah two or three times in the flesh and several on TV programme series. I've never yet seen him dressed any differently than overalls and a flat cap. :D You may have a point, but Nat was what he was, a man of his roots and the people. The final choice will be made by others, the "...

Re: Chung-Yong signs new Wanderers deal
It would be great if, when announcing the starting 11 on Saturday as the players are coming on he introduces Elmander with 'Number 9, and signed a new 2 year contract extension... Johan Elmander!'. The crowd goes wild, a fantastic atmosphere begins to brew which lifts the team to another victory! I'...

http://www.nufc-forum.com/nufcforum/index.php?topic=35302.0 praise indeed from our friends in the north east Smith was completely useless, our defence could not be arsed. I haven't seen us play this badly in a long time. Totally humiliated, we only seem to care about beating the good teams. We can'...

Had to give away my season ticket away today knowing full well we would turn them over, had to attend a 90th birthday celebration lunch. Had the text messages flooding in throughout the meal. Watched final score on the bbc with a Blackpool season ticket holder in the second half, unbeknownst to me w...
