I'll say it before Insano gets in. 11 spines on the pitch is what I'll settle for

Re: Yorkshire Relish. Away to Barnsley Sat Apr 12th 3-0'clock.
We need a team of 7 out of 10s every week, with 2-3 of them putting in 8/9 out of 10s every week. That sort of consistency will get us up. At the moment we're 5/6 out of 10 with rare 7/8 out of 10. The players that once fit were supposed to be a cut above are only delivering those 8+ out of 10 games...

I’d like to think our players will react positively and look to right Saturdays wrongs, but I think it’s more likely we’ll see a sullen, sulky bunch who haven’t reacted well to criticism It happens with such regularity that even if they 'respond', it usually only last 1-2 matches at best and we end...

Re: Football style. Things to do on a quiet week.
Thing that pisses me off is the complete inconsistency and shiteness of the officiating. Yesterday one of our lot had his shirt stretched back by about a foot, near shoulder height around 2 feet from the lino. The lino couldn't have seen anything but the shirt being pulled by the defender. Nothing. ...

Re: Yorkshire Relish. Away to Barnsley Sat Apr 12th 3-0'clock.
I think Schumacher will understand the character, flaws and good attributes of his players by now. I think Worthy sums it up best with his bag of bits. The odd player aside, they are all decent enough players for this level, but lacking as a group. All great sides have a player or two who probably s...

Re: Division Three, 2024/25
Do we know what happens if Reading don't get bought in time? That has the potential for a farce. Especially if they have to re-arrange for the play off entrants. Wouldn't surprise me if they just try and sort the ramifications after the seasons end. Either way, it'd be crazy to think that it could ...

Re: Trouble at't Mill(ers". At home to Rotherham, Tuesday 8th Apr. 19-45.
it's worth noting that Etete was signed with Schumacher's approval after Evatt's departure. But I doubt we'll go for him again in summer... Bloody hell DSB! If we do, it'll make the Nlundulu signing look like the perfect example of due diligence! Off the pitch only Mario Jardel looked less like a f...

Re: Trouble at't Mill(ers". At home to Rotherham, Tuesday 8th Apr. 19-45.
Which players are we likely to flog, AT? Collins, Morley and Johnston the only ones I can see that other clubs might pay decent fees for, but we probably don’t want to lose any of them. I've no idea tbh Gun. I'm hoping Schumacher has a plan for Randall, as I can't see us getting much there at this ...

Re: Trouble at't Mill(ers". At home to Rotherham, Tuesday 8th Apr. 19-45.
Schumacher has also called out Sheehan for bottling yet another tackle. About time. Absolutely need one or two proper defensive midfield types in the summer. Can’t keep relying on a bloke who has absolutely no desire to do the grafting part of the game. I don't think it is fair to say Sheehan doesn...

Re: The Politics Thread
Under Bretton Woods, US was a clear winner...it pretty much broke in the 70's so they had to try change it which they did with a movie star. That it's absolutely broke now is pretty clear. The richest nation on earth has millions of people on the breadline that they can't even give healthcare to, s...

Re: The Politics Thread
I actually think this is purely down to getting corporate America under his thumb. He's doing the same in the legal world too. He's threatening companies with the tariffs, but back him and the tariffs will disappear. Do his legal bidding or no access to federal buildings/contracts etc. Means in 3/4 ...

Re: No fools in April. Away to the Pies, Tuesday April Ist 7-45.
Certainly isn't helping Randall settle when he gets sarcastically clapped/jeered as he's subbed. To the day I die I will never understand the neanderthal mentality of not supporting your own and wanting them to do well, rather than pouncing on them at every opportunity (a la Santos et al).... There...

Re: No fools in April. Away to the Pies, Tuesday April Ist 7-45.
Difference for me now is I don't believe Schumacher will remotely entertain the idea that our lack of ability to win these matches is acceptable. Even if it is with limited funds he will change things. Evatt just wanted to repeat things with the same patterns and types of players, with the results b...

Anyone harbouring any hope for this season do yourself a favour and stop. It'll be easier :D Most of us are there with you Twin... until we beat Wigan on Tuesday. Then we are in dreamland again. I refuse to bite. Only if we go 8 wins in a row am I allowing anything other than mild interest :D

Re: A tall order. Away to Blackpool , Saturday Mar 29th 3-0' clock.
I've had the remainder of the season down as Schumacher having time to figure out what he's got and what he can do with it. Got a bit of hope up when we had the run, but that has fizzled out and I'm back to the figuring stuff out phase again. The time is valuable for Schumacher as I'm sure he will k...
