Re: Schu me the way to Amarillo - Summer 2025 Transfer Thread
Nixon reporting BW have “split with” Ludonautics. Oh well. Thank god. Didn’t want them having anything to do with us. Any major reason, mate? I'm if favour of us using credilble analytics, just not them being "instead of," proper scouting, but "supplemental to." I'm not sure I know enough about wha...

Re: The official Bolton Stream/Radio link thread.
Howdy all, Looking for some feedback. I have the ability to make my couch a little better. In that if I made you a brew and we watched the game per say. We could actually talk amongst ourselves without the need for posting in the forum. Would this be something folk would be interested in or are you...

Re: League One 25/26 - the Runners and Riders, or Schumacher's First Strike
It may have gone under the radar, unless I missed reading it on here, but Plymouth have signed Amaechi from Magdeburg. Remember him? Xavier, you see. Not your Bob or Stan. I am trying not to remember him. Don't upset our new 6... I have feelings too... Man up  Good point, well made! Fcuk 'em....

Re: League One 25/26 - the Runners and Riders, or Schumacher's First Strike
If we have a start like last year, there's a fair old chance we'll get a finish like last year too! :-( There's already folk predicting Schumacher will be out by October and Darby installed as caretaker. And that's without getting into the new-kit brouhaha. I'm nowhere near that, with the transfer ...

Re: Are we up for the cups in 2025/26?
League Cup draw: Sheff Wed at home Happy with that and all. They could be in any state by then. Chansiri press release this morning says the prospective buyers never put money down. I wouldn't trust him with a bag of crisps but as noted recently on here they're running out of time and their players...

Re: League One 25/26 - the Runners and Riders, or Schumacher's First Strike
I think (and I'm sure we do), take each game on it's merits. I think the speculation about who might be "up there" the coming season, is just so much guesswork - we'd have probably all picked Brum out, last year and maybe Wrexham - but how many got Wycombe and Stockport - Charlton and Orient - dunno...

Re: Schu me the way to Amarillo - Summer 2025 Transfer Thread
Yes - Cogley. But then we often bemoan the ball into the box, but he generally gets back when needed and at least pushes them wide - That'll be more in focus without 3 CD's...

Re: League One 25/26 - the Runners and Riders, or Schumacher's First Strike
^^ I'm a bit worried about them - they've taken plenty of points off us recently. They might not assemble a "top 2" squad, but if we don't change recent results, chances are, we won't either.

Re: Schu me the way to Amarillo - Summer 2025 Transfer Thread
I'll be impressed if Lincoln offer him £35k, a number I suspect Capology have plucked from thin air, as they do. Good on 'em all. More seriously, IDK - let's see who turns up (and where freebies like Toffolo, if not necessarily him, end up - if anywhere). It's possible if Conway impresses in pre-se...

Not sure you're getting a lot of pelters with a 99 in an overall very good performance. I'd have still batted first!

Re: Schu me the way to Amarillo - Summer 2025 Transfer Thread
Just watch the number of times we have free players in 6/8 yards out. Free headers, unchallenged toe-pokes - all over the place. They need an organiser next to him. I'm hoping that's Taylor because it sure as hell isn't Eoin.

Re: Schu me the way to Amarillo - Summer 2025 Transfer Thread
For me it's about units and partnerships, not individuals. But what you might say. is that Trafford, Bradley, Jones, Santos, Johnston - LWB was either Declan John or Iredale were probably better defensively than what we currently have. And sat in front of them we generally had Morley, Dempsey and MJ...

Re: Schu me the way to Amarillo - Summer 2025 Transfer Thread
Our reserve keepers might look better and less worrying for us, if our defensive unit actually did some defending. I'd be shit scared, sat behind our lot, whatever age I was. You have to hope that a couple of key signings alongside someone knowing what a defence is, alleviates some of the concerns.
