Re: For new signings, ask the man from the Pru

Jamie Proctor having a medical today says Iles.... So is my mother-in-law, but I'm not expecting her to sign for us. :D I don't know. Is she any good in the net? Apparently we want to sign a goalkeeper next....perhaps MIL will surprise you? Well, she's Italian, so more of a midfield general than 'k...

Re: Pre Season Friendlies

The only one who was anywhere near 1st team was Samizadeh....he's a very small , fast player and skillful. Shit a brick, he's tiny ! http://www.bwfc.co.uk/cms_images/common/alex-samizedah-goal-atherton-4x3201-3165511_613x460.jpg  "How far away is he ?" He is tiny. I saw him come on as a sub at...

The Gigg game (Sat 22 Oct), about which Bury were pissing their knickers over hoolie/police costs, is now a noon KO.

The game at the home of football has been put back from Easter Mon 17 Apr to Tue 18 (KO 8pm).
Oh dear. That'll upset their fan.

I've no idea whether Taylor is a good signing or not. But, the simple fact that we've signed someone feels like we've got our club back. Ish.

Re: For new signings, ask the man from the Pru

From the twittesphere: Spoke to KA - #bwfc cleared by Football League to give two players a medical Friday, possibly a third. In short... We're back in business!!! Can't name my source. However, in response to a tweet asking, "Proctor, Beevers & Taylor?" the source responded, "I think so, yes...

Re: For new signings, ask the man from the Pru

Anyone who can demand a fee will be gone. Next one according to "read Norwich" is Clough for £1.5m. http://readnorwich.com/2016/06/28/clough-set-for-norwich-medical-after-fee-agreed/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; *Edit - Photo's from training today show Clough so probably BS. No indication yet on the second one (Jul 10, Helsingor), but a club announcement is expected this morning, so don't be stunned if that goes too.

More (but not much more) on the BN.

For the record.

Niall Maher, released at the end of the season, has signed for Bury.

I've posted this mainly so we can move on another page without any signings, thus making this the worse transfer thread EVER!

Marvellous Marvin released by Colchester. That lad played his hand very badly. Washed up and only 25.

AFC Wombleydon defender Jon Meades can't wait to play us. Not for revenge, more for awe. "Then there’s Bolton – I used to watch them in the Premiership when I was a young boy. Jay-Jay Okocha, I used to love him, now we are playing them, so that’s just amazing." More (but not much more) here If he's...

Well, I've noted 10 trip possibilities (subject to life getting in the way), but they're a bit top-loaded - nothing after early February. Maybe if we're playing brilliantly (or even efficiently) I might be tempted... (Walsall, Swindon, Millwall, Posh, Northampton, Chesterfield, Cov, Oxford, Southen...
