Re: A Barrow load of trouble. Barrow (A) League 2. 20/10/20 KO 7pm

Well, if we don’t get a reaction tonight I’m not sure it bodes well for the non league Guardiola. I’ve definitely come round to the school of thought he needs some senior help. Three coaches (one specialist) seems very light to me. Think he’s been shortchanged by the elusive Tobias Phoenix myself ( ...

Re: Oldham or fold em, but no full house in sight..

I think for anyone to even think about getting rid now is madness. Any danger of relegation and he has to go for me. Not my money but the financial chasm of dropping out of the football league at this stadium doesn’t beat thinking about. If we were a couple of wins in, it was hit and miss and we ha...

Interesting that we still have coaches on furlough. Or extended garden leave?

Re: Oldham or fold em, but no full house in sight..

That’s the thing - players are escaping absolute pelters from the fans at the moment. Could arguably be a lot worse for them. But fans are so detached from it all now it’s dead easy not to pay your ten quid and watch it...the enjoyable bits of going to the match have been taken off us anyway. It wil...

Re: Oldham or fold em, but no full house in sight..

I think he is now distancing himself from the player signings. Phoenix is arguably as culpable but to chuck the players under the bus a week after telling us they were training like Real Madrid, and a month or so after saying we were thriving on being title favourites. Not sure if he’s schizophrenic...

Re: Oldham or fold em, but no full house in sight..

I know I’m a broken record but I’m not having that there’s a footballer in Gordon waiting to get out. He’s fecking clueless. He has the positional sense of the hot dog seller, and spends so long looking behind himself I actually wonder if he has his shirt on back to front. Quite possibly one of the ...

Re: Oldham or fold em, but no full house in sight..

Agreed. It’s a shit show. I will say his post match interview sounds like he gets it - but if there is no improvement in the players doing the basics and just general effort on the field in the next couple of games I would get rid. The financial oblivion of another relegation isn’t worth thinking ab...

Re: Oldham or fold em, but no full house in sight..

We’ve got: Doyle - last seasons top scorer at this level Sarcevic -Plymouth player of the year last season Delaney - league one player last season and before that Crawford - player most of his career above this level Fonz - played all (?) of his career above this level Taft - regular centre half for...

Re: Oldham or fold em, but no full house in sight..

Oh and I forgot to add how on earth young Regan Riley can't get into this midfield is behond me - even after only 1 game he's got size, physicality, movement, energy & desire, more than any of those three showed today. Also why are we so lacking in fitness ?, perhaps its not fitness, perhaps its de...

Re: Oldham or fold em, but no full house in sight..

Also, sorry if my posts are coming across as rude. I'm not annoyed at anyone on here, I'm just sick of losing. Not at all pal. FWIW I didn’t expect us to walk the league - I knew we would have the cup final syndrome v a lot of teams. Buuut I’m with worthy - what we’ve spent and our budget v others ...

Re: Summer 2020 transfers

Last one for me...booze is kicking in now 🤣
I’ve concluded every left footed player we’ve recruited is shit. Right footed ones are fine. Taft, Greenidge, Gordon, mascoll, comley, all wank.

Re: Oldham or fold em, but no full house in sight..

The suggestion by Iles is we bust the cap by going big, before it. Embargo and the fact we’ve signed a whole squad buys time, absolutely. But we should be the biggest draw at this level - and plenty of others have signed a lot of new players. It’s an excuse but it’s not going to wash for much longer...

Re: Oldham or fold em, but no full house in sight..

Spot on above BW btw...recruitment is seriously wanting. When the next manager is appointed he’ll be straight up to Sharon (hopefully without Yobias in his way with his championship manager database) saying midfield hard man and a target man please...

Re: Oldham or fold em, but no full house in sight..

I defy anyone to watch the goals we’ve conceded this season and conclude the management team are doing a good job. A bloke has literally run the whole length of the field to score a 95th minute winner. Why did no c*nt take him out at any point? I don’t have a fecking clue what we are trying to achie...

Re: Oldham or fold em, but no full house in sight..

I’d take Parkys mum over this clown. Parky is now too good for us, Evatt will get binned at Christmas and we’ll end up with Phoenix deciding to dust of his championship manager coaching routines until the end of the season. Seriously Sharon - there is not a chance in hell I’m travelling 2 hours to w...

Re: Oldham or fold em, but no full house in sight..

I would sack Evatt now. I think he’s a joke. Had a lucky season in none league. But you have to find someone to come in who would work under Phoenix - whose only experience has to be Championship Manager. How the fck did he get this job? Sharon - Sort it out!

Can’t say it’s not been coming. Phoenix and Evatt. Shite. Recruitment- shite. Big big trouble.
