Re: Contract expiry

out of those expiring there’s only Baxter I see who can play higher up. Santos isn’t mentally strong enough. He’ll be back driving for Amazon soon enough.

Looking forward to the 5pm announcement given Evatt said we’d have a recruit in for the weekend.

Or why we didn’t try and push an auction - it’s not like the window shuts tomorrow? There was a story about him meeting duff in a local hotel I think. If you want championship football Dion we’re your best bet is all that was needed to be said!

Re: Reasons to be cheerful. At home to Cambridge Sat 18th Jan 3'clock.

No I’m not mate I’m fairly certain we won’t win mind I’m saying I don’t want protests that affect the result, but I think when this lot go a goal down it’s only heading one way anyway - so 0-2 with 15 to go, bring out the bedsheets. Helpful for Sharon to see them before she totters of for some champ...

Re: Reasons to be cheerful. At home to Cambridge Sat 18th Jan 3'clock.

Hope there’s protests at the end of the game and at a point we can’t recover (2 or 3 nil down usually does it) personally. Would like things to start getting really uncomfortable for the board now. Bolton Wanderers not Ian Evatt FC. As an aside and I don’t know where else to put this, but listened t...

Re: In, Out, Shake It All About: January 2025 Transfer Window

View from Huddersfield is they’ve capitalised on a falling out. I suspect it is along the lines of Dion calling Evatt out for leaving his surest source of goals out of a struggling side, and suggesting there was more chance of the second coming than Evatt getting a team out of this league.

Re: In, Out, Shake It All About: January 2025 Transfer Window

This discussion is infuriating. We were hypothising this in the summer and again after the Huddersfield farce. I remember saying it needs someone to come in and play a 433, normal football and formation for normal league one players. Be hilarious (not my money) if the new Randall can’t fit it into t...

Re: In, Out, Shake It All About: January 2025 Transfer Window

Northampton away this season, he came on, looked like his old self and scored a good goal. Rest of this season, like the team, he's underperformed. Can only hope he's affected by the Wanderers curse, of very few players leaving us and going on to better things. I'm assuming Evatt has already sounde...

Huddersfield will be pissing themselves. Suspect they thought we were genuine rivals this summer. They have dicked us at our own ground, scored one of the most comical goals I have ever seen against us, and now they are taking our top scorer for a steal!

Re: "...and you can shove Lindum away up your Colonia!" - Lincoln away (EFL Trophy) Tuesday 14th Jan 2025 7pm

I cant help but believe that something has gone terribly wrong in the squad. Thomasson has been affected badly by it as captain, as an Evatt loyalist trying to sort it out and hold the team together. It clearly has taken a toll on the young man. Charles has now been ditched. I wonder which rebel ne...

Mate I looked lively sat on my fat arse on my sofa compared to Victor! It genuinely wouldn't surprise me if he was trying to force a move through by underperforming. Probably the best thing for his career in the long run (so can't really blame him), but jesus wept, it makes it hard to get behind as...
