Top drawer from Keith - having COG bullying their defence and pulling wide a la Kevin Davies 2008 worked well. Always nice to send the skip rats scurrying back home with nothing - no 17 year olds to bully today lads?

Re: Onwards and Downwards: 2020 transfer speculation thread.

Mellis has lost his way a bit - recall him being the next big thing at Barnsley a while back. Could be a great signing if the management team can get him firing again. Happy with the winger - needed that. Defender I don’t know anything about, but if Keith has decided Zouma and Edwards aren’t up to i...

Re: Onwards and Downwards: 2020 transfer speculation thread.

Basically Bridcutt wants to play football - he would rather it wasn’t here, but he will if he has to. Can’t argue with that!

My MD's lad plays up front for 'em - I'm fvckin dreading it. I know. It’s a toss up between this and Doncaster for the game I want as our consolation win before the end of the season. If anyone sees John Oldgrudge slinking his way into hospitality (as he did when Liverpool were in town) give him a ...

According tert th'office Shaker, he remembers Bryan as looking like an excellent prospect. We'll see, I guess.
I think it’s a decent signing. I know you value my transfer opinion :D

Re: New ownership - Football Ventures

I genuinely have no idea what (if) it would save. I’m happy to go with FV though - who have billed it as a move to improve the atmosphere in any case. But I do wonder how expensive we will be to run compared to say Forest Green!

Re: New ownership - Football Ventures

Makes you wonder how expensive the ground is to run compared to others. Bradford will be a comparable I guess - can’t be many others that have been in league two. I hope it’s cost effective to keep at least one upper tier open, but this club has got to become self sufficient soon.

Re: Onwards and Downwards: 2020 transfer speculation thread.

I do think Connel made the wrong move - Leeds were sniffing and if there is a manager out there who trusts and develops young players it is Bielsa.

I don’t think we will see Buckley again. Be too late by the time he returns. I wonder if we can do what we did with pratley and de-register him?

Re: FV Recruitment Model

We don’t know do we. But if he talks to players how he talks about some of them it is no wonder to me why heads were dropped from the off, and after we equalised bizarrely. Only ones who looked ‘up for it’ last night were Daryl Murphy (who fast got fed up), Matthews and O Grady. But this is going of...

Re: Onwards and Downwards: 2020 transfer speculation thread.

In fairness to Buckley it was a shocking tackle from behind. The ref didn’t even give a free kick let alone a card!

However

Buckley is made of glass. We all knew it would end this way. Why the feck waste the money?

If I were Sharon I would be tapping into up and coming lower league managers who won’t be fazed with the pressure of this job, else we are following the route of Stockport, York and Hartlepool.

I’ll watch it. I’m not going to listen to the ramblings of the madman again that’s for sure. The utter prick. Still can’t get over how bad that was last night, the chaos in defence, the disappearing midfielders and the amount of times we have the ball away or passed it into touch.

I feel for my club. I can’t believe we have another half season of funding Buckley sat on his arse. If you want to understand how demotivated that team is under this dinosaur just watch that last ten minutes - we should have been bouncing after that scabby equaliser, instead, heads down, nobody show...
