Re: Deduction prediction

We should wait until we’re safe from relegation, by at least 6 points and cancel a game just for the sheer hell of it. 😎 Shame the return game against Donny isn’t at the end of the season.

Re: Deduction prediction

I sincerely hope that the panel sets out it’s full and frank reasons behind the decision. Unlikely, as it probably sticks the boot in on the EFL, given the leniency. I can’t think of any other reason as to how we got off so lightly. Absolutely fecking delighted though!

Re: Today I'm angry about.....

Things happen, it's the way of the world. Sometimes life's harder than others. Had a bit of a tough last three years as wife had first a knee replacement, then the other one went, another op, and then her hip caved in; a third op.She's basically been on crutches ever since. She came out of hospital...

Re: Deduction prediction

It's subject to appeal. Our celebrations might well be premature. Surely only we have the right to appeal and not other clubs? The EFL have the right to appeal. Going off the last 2 paragraphs in the EFL’s own statement that doesn’t look likely to me. It mentions that it’s subject to appeal, then s...

Wow wow wow. Twitter saying we’ve only been given a suspended 5 point deduction!
Yes 5 points suspended plus a fine

Sounds too good to be true. How reliable is the source?

Edit- Just seen the Iles tweet. Get the feck in! ‘we are staying up’!

Spurs and Arsenal fans are almost indistinguishable to anyone outside North London. Much the same can be said for boltonians and wiganners . ;) No,no,no...G'G. Apart from two strange years spent in Yorkshire, I've lived all my life in Bolton, Westhoughton and Farnworth. Folk in Wingates (Westhought...

Re: Today I’m happy about...

I see he's won more trophies as a manager than Spurs have won in their whole history! If it comes off, it's an inspired move by Levy. If it doesn't, they're going to be as skint as us! Not hard to be fair  I’m nervous. He will either be great for them or awful. Really hoping it’s the latter......

Does anyone know why it is a 7pm kick off? I can't make it because I don't finish work till 7pm

I think the early kick offs are designed to allow more kids to attend. I guess they have to be seen to be doing something to get back the crowds they've lost when devaluing the competition.

Just so I know where I'm up to, this is basically the Sherpa Van under a different name, right? Aye, though tbf this is its proper name (the Sherpa Van equivalent would be to call it the leasing.com Trophy which we, quite rightly IMO, have not). That's a q for aging people though. What were the EFL...

Introducing Burnden Paddock to the ‘delights’ of Europa league football tonight. He will come back from London a changed man...
If by changed, you mean thoroughly refreshed after 90 mins kip at the library, then yes, I will be a changed man. 😉
