One thing worse than seeing us get dicked by the Aussies, is watching them ride their luck whilst doing it!
Aye. It’s not like we did in that frantic finish at Headingley. 😉

Re: Today I'm angry about.....

There’s not a cat in hells chance i’ll be paying. Phoned the hotel last night and was told to email the front of house manager, which i’ll do tomorrow and ask them to request those tw@ts at Parking Eye waive the charge. I’ll also ask that they amend their website. This must have happened loads of ti...

Re: Today I'm angry about.....

Receiving a penalty charge notice of £100 for parking on a hotel car park I was staying at. The booking confirmation email (via a 3rd party) and the hotels own website both stated it was free parking, with no conditions attached. The really, really annoying thing is that this charge was for a brief ...

Re: Planned Website Downtime - Delayed due to Keith Hill Appointment. I'll do it after the window closes.

Since the down time I can only log into the site via a Google search. How come? I assume it's something to do with cookies and stuff but since I don't understand all that, an explanation for an IT numpty would be much appreciated :) I don't think the planned downtime went ahead, did it? I lost it f...

Re: What are you watching tonight?

Anyone else admitting to watching 'bake off' or is it just me?! Go on then, i'll admit to it. Then again, with a prolific baker in the house (as you and others on here can testify to) and a daughter who loves the show, I don't have much choice but to watch. I didn't want to like it, but found mysel...

Re: New ownership - Football Ventures

Talking of Bassini, wasn't he due to resume his "case" in the high court today? My internet 10p is that it is quietly settled out of court, and the primary aim all along was to disrupt FV... I've asked Marc Iles but nothing back. Can't find anything online either. Iles mentioned in his blog that he...

Re: Today I'm happy about......

I went for an interview today. Had the worst preparation ever because for the past 3 nights I've been perusing here, the beeb and social media for news on us rather than swotting up. I only went and got it! I got a tax refund yesterday too. This has been a hell of a week :oyea: Comes in 3's mate. A...

Ta, found him! I really do try to give the benefit of the doubt in life but f*ck the Andersons. What a pair of c*nts. Sincerely hope that's the last we see of those too. Hope Walter Mitty nails their hats on in Jarndyce v Jarndyce II. Based on Appleton’s message I suspect he will be looking into th...

Re: Onwards and Downwards: 2020 transfer speculation thread.

SIL was married at Juliet's tomb the day after my birthday in July 2006. One of my presents was an Italy football t-shirt. The pedant in me couldn't resist telling her that it was out of date, as there should be 4 world cup stars, rather than 3!

Knocking about in Verona. Surely we can tempt him away from that shit-hole.
Yeah. Apart from the Arena, Juliet's house, her tomb and the Giusti Gardens, what does Verona have that Bolton doesn't? Come home lad!

Re: Time to field the club Priest: A Vs Gillingham 31:08:19 3pm

There might be a rethink on ticketing bnow if loads of our fans decide to pile down there. I was just about to say that exact same thing. I've already got a group of 4 or 5 wanting to go, none of which would usually travel. Only selling tickets an hour and a half before kick off seemed ropey origin...

Re: Time to field the club Priest: A Vs Gillingham 31:08:19 3pm

Right. As I'm likely the closest Wanderer to Priestfield I'm happy to buy all the tickets when the box office opens. All I'll need is the 16 digit number from your debit card, expiry date and the 3 digit security code off the back. Probably best to PM the details in case there are any unscrupulous ...

Big up yourself Michael James 👍 And many thanks toEddie Davies family 👍👍 That's the family of Eddie Davies that sold a club, with operating losses of £9.1 million for the tax year 2014, to Dean Holdsworth and Ken Anderson. I guess it's just me. I sincerely hope this one works out better. COYWM! Be ...
