Re: Administration and recovery

Joe Carla, a prospective buyer has jut been interviewed on SSN. Reckons he made 3 bids, all turned down by Dale. Also claimed that Dale doesn't want to sell and prefers to liquidate the club. Quelle surprise!

Re: What are you eating and drinking tonight?

Driven past that tango, sounds exactly as it looks. In a race to the bottom with the Toby Carvery next to it. The Red Lion is rubbish as well. That the one that's still in the lead (despite some fierce competition) in the #toaman Worst Breakfast Ever competition? Grey eggs. How the feck does anyone...

Ha, I couldn't help reading that quote sarcastically. As in, I'm as close as I've ever been to shagging Anna Friel.

Re: Parkinson Leaves

It'll be in his book, I telz ya. And there really is a book in Parkinson. Better / more interesting than Garry Nelson's, even. Depends on how much he wants to say, and how good his ghost-writer is at getting it out of him. Like I say, Colin Todd’s book was soporific, both about the good times and b...

Re: The athletics/running thread

Missed all.this. got me thinking about my haircuts as a kid at Fosters opposite Orlando Bridge near Burnden. Clippers deal with what I've got left now, not visited a professional for years. Have a bad habit of leaving the pile of hair around for several days. My niece turned up and saw it and was a...

Not so much a one man team as a f*ckin two man squad!

The c*nt's pissing me off and I haven't even learnt how to pronounce his name yet.

The prick reviewed as plum an LBW decision as i've ever seen, then walked off shaking his head.

Re: Administration and recovery

Do we know what time the axe falls on Bury tomorrow? Apparently 5pm for Bury. You won't hear this much round here, but apparently I was wrong - Iles is now saying midnight tomorrow. Really? I'm not sure you are wrong. Only, as I recall, The EFL issued a statement which clearly stated 5pm tomorrow. ...

Cheers DSB. I'm about to head Arctic circle-wise (just a little bit north and east of our former desert dweller AT) with little to no worldwidewebinterconnectivityness. Eight days with sparse communication with the rest of the Universe, either a blessing or a curse. Here's fingers crossed. I hope y...

Nixon claiming the hotel deal is close. Possibly as soon as today or tomorrow. Sorry Al, but I just can't get excited about this latest claim.

Sad news. I know he had had his ups and downs with you on the pitch over the years but he’d been a real rock through all this turmoil from an outsiders point looking in? Absolutely this. Walks away with his head held high and a huge amount of credit for hanging around for so long, when he could hav...

EFL have suspended Bury's game this weekend and awarded Sheffield Wednesday the previously postponed League Cup game https://www.efl.com/news/2019/august/efl-statement-bury-fc-update3 Golden share to be transferred 5pm on Friday, according to Iles. Never liked them, but that’s bloody awful news. Ho...

Re: Puppy Love... (H) v Donny. 8pm Tues 20/Aug/2019 : CANCELLED

So, to be concise, you think they should have done to us what they've done to Bury? Not necessarily arguing. It's just my natural inclination, when someone demands change, to ask "What to?" I think DSB, not to put too fine a point on it, they will anyway. Do to us what they are about to do to Bury....

What do we reckon the next pathetic excuse is for FV not to have signed on the dotted line? I can't imagine what it might even possibly could be, but one will be trotted out...
