Another one, from the North West Counties Leagues! 18yo George Thomason from Longridge Town.

It's like Jason McAteer all over again! I'm getting giddy.

No matter who we sign, if 23-year-old Liam Edwards isn't to be entrusted with one of the two vacant centre-back positions in our starting line-up I'd like to know why.
Young and old pairing works for me. Wheater and Wright either or but not both.

Re: Onwards and Downwards: 2020 transfer speculation thread.

The answer to what you ask? No. Worse than Wright? Doubt it. And he might lift the squad a bit and remember some of those Parky set piece routines! He's obviously past his best and limited, but people said that before the last promotion season and he did well. He might add something and I think the ...

Re: Brew Years Day - Burton Albion (H) - 01-01-2020

We really do take defeats badly. Calling for the Managers head. We clearly need to find a magician to manage our team. We had no players. We had no pre season. We miraculously got some players in 48hrs, most of whom were discarded by their clubs and unfit. We had to play with under 18s. We have inj...

Re: Contract expiry

Actually just seen Iles suggesting that he won't be back.
If we had anything to play for it would be a blow, instead it leaves space for a loannee that we might be able to keep next season.

Re: Contract expiry

When he got the job over Nobby Nolan, was it not reported that it was because he'd done his homework and research on players and had contacts in place to start signing players? Or were the incomings set up by that richly rewarded agency bloke? If the former you'd expect him to have a long list. Thin...

Just woke up. What the hell is going on? 4-6 loss is my new prediction. Having seen on Saturday how shit our first choice midfield is, I shudder to think how bad it'll be with Weir in it.

Re: Kiss me Kate, Part One. Bolton v Shrewsbury. Unibol 3-0 Sunday 29th.

Just looking back at the tackle by Lowe, take a look at Norburn just before Lowe lunges in, he jumps as if he's going to lunge towards the ball. Sadly he backs out and Lowe is not quick enough to change his tackle although he does bend his legs which prevents it being mega nasty. If Lowe hadn't mad...

Two points dropped on a day MK Dons picked up a win.
I've given up on staying up DSB, so taking it as an unlikely point gained from a difficult position, and a home defeat avoided after an act of stupid self sabotage. Which is unusual for me as I'm normally a miserable negative wanker!

Re: Kiss me Kate, Part One. Bolton v Shrewsbury. Unibol 3-0 Sunday 29th.

Thought defence played well, especially Chicksen and Matthews with the late saves. Cracking finish from verlinden. Weak in midfield, Murphy was poor and Lowe is a utter bellend for that. Said red card as soon as he did it. Ref let Shrewsbury get away with a lot of niggling fouling but had an easy d...

Sounds like Posh have been robbed at 1 nil up! This is only going to get worse sadly. Hard to blame Hill when you look at what he's got to work with. I'm predicting 5-0 Yes it must be so hard for Hill only having the likes of Bridcutt, Jason Lowe, L Murphy, D Murphy, Wright, Verlinden, Emmanuel, Ea...

until labour roots out all the nut cases and Marxist cranks and becomes the party of ordinary folk again, it won't get elected. They run it though. And are entirely deluded and self righteous. Let's hope it's not as high scoring as my only visit (5-4 defeat under Freedman) because in our decimated state I can only see the goals going in one way.

I see jezza is sticking around for a bit and doing the 'responsible thing' by waiting until a new leader is chosen. I imagine he means he's going to make sure they don't commit the terrible sin of putting someone sensible and electable in charge.

Let's hope for a decent leader of the opposition. And let's hope it's not selected by Momentum and their bunch of political imbeciles.
