Similar to my Tranmere mate's appraisal. Also mentioned the booing, and was very complimentary of Politic's goal. We try to be civil and usually manage it!

Hope you can get some relief from.it ASAP Tango. I'd badger them in the mornings for a cancellation. All the best.

Re: Onwards and Downwards: 2020 transfer speculation thread.

Seems like we're going to lose out to Lincoln on Bridcutt. That really does hammer home how far we've fallen. fecking Lincoln. Admin and an embargo will do that to a team. Should hit home to all those expecting miracles. I wouldn't be surprised that an absolute cock of a manager contributed to that...

See, I said back int' day and I still maintain that whoever came in for either Clough or Vela should've taken them as a pair as they brought the best out of each other. How's Vela getting on at Easter Road?
He's left for Gay Meadow. They could play against each other soon.

I feel sorry for Buckley, but what a disastrous decision to re-sign him. If it hadn't been this it would've been something else.

Daryl Murphy in post match interviews comes across with more leadership skills than Hill does. That worries me. Don't think I've ever listened to a player sound calmer, more clear and composed in interviews than the manager.
Has he done his badges?

Fair play to Dazza. Shame that when we finally get a decent goalscorer the rest of the team is rubbish.

Lowe was dropped from.hills first game which surprised a few. So maybe he doesn't rate him either. It's pointless speculating too much about hill's ramblings though.

Sweepstake on his next injury? What and when?
I know.
Thing is, if we hadn't already had Will Buckley for 2.5 years of failure, I'd be happy taking a punt on Will Buckley. But we have.

Wonder if he continued to train with us with a view to a barrel scraping job if they couldn't get anyone else?
Anyway I await the remaining dregs of this window with bated breath.
Maybe Buckley will surprise us. It's not like he's never had any talent.

Beer as well. Live very close to there now, was at the track opposite tonight. Found the price of a pint to be significantly more than in Great Lever.
Which has possibly contributed to me running better than I have in years!

Got tickets for Court no1 at Wimbledon. Monday of the 2nd week. Something I've always fancied but not so much as to ever go and queue up for. A mate got lucky in the ballot but cant go on the days they gave him. 125 quid each seems a bit steep mind. Anyone been? Reccos? What to avoid? I reckon the ...

I didn't escape my attention that the majority, if not all, were inswingers targeting the near post. I remember reading that such a corner is statistically the most likely to result in a goal (I think the theory goes that it offers two opportunities to score, either from a direct header or a flick-...

In this country, Bruce, one can legally call oneself anything one chooses. Only on certain legal documents will you be refered to by your 'legal name'. Be that the one you were registered at birth with, or have subsequently legally changed it to. The rules however are not completely set in stone. I...

He might genuinely be thought of as an improvement, but on the face of it, I'd probably take him replacing Chicksen as confirmation we've accepted relegation and are now engaging on a cost-cutting / money saving excercise. I wouldn't have a problem with that so long as we're (relatively) competitiv...
