Re: Up Hill and down 'Dale - Rochdale (A), 3:00pm, 11/01/20

Its all about him, he could have come out & said how well young Hamilton played but he chose to make it all about him and have a go at everyone - when he actually hadn't even been criticised. I honestly cant see much of a future for him after this outburst, the man's a liability every time he opens...

Re: Up Hill and down 'Dale - Rochdale (A), 3:00pm, 11/01/20

There have been a few who invoked the spirit of Owen's ping-pong table on here as well. Coyle's tactical prowess and Megson's charm. What a winning combo that would be !! :hang:  Sharon needs to get him to wind his neck in or it will all end badly for him, and as irritating as I find him, that ...

Also the comparisons I've heard with Phil (wotsisname?!) Parkinson have been supportive and favourable to Hill, so he's picking a fight over nothing with that one. He has form for this we were told. Said ages ago it would happen.

Another load of incoherent bollocks by Hill in his post match interview on GMR. I'm not going to give him grief for the footballing side as it stands, but good God he spouts some drivel and I've taken a very strong dislike to him. Can't embed tweets so best I can do... Nsiala confirmed. Loan to the end of the season. Screenshot_20200111_125458.jpg An Ipswich friend sent me this. Alex Baptiste then. Just hope Hill doesn't do a Dougie and play him anywhere but his preferred position He'll be fine when it's his turn in the wing. Won't concede any penalties out there.

Re: Onwards and Downwards: 2020 transfer speculation thread.

Amused at fans who seem to think signing loads of non leaguers is the way to go. Quick polish, bit of training and they'll magically transform into league 1 stars and get sold for loads of money. Most are in non league because that is the level that matches their ability. Players like faal yes, but ...

They don't want to rearrange it, apparently they're not happy that they haven't been gifted the 3 points.

Sounds like we've not seen the end of this bollocks.
Dock the feck* 3 points and award it to us. :oyea:

No matter who we sign, if 23-year-old Liam Edwards isn't to be entrusted with one of the two vacant centre-back positions in our starting line-up I'd like to know why.
Young and old pairing works for me. Wheater and Wright either or but not both.

Re: Onwards and Downwards: 2020 transfer speculation thread.

The answer to what you ask? No. Worse than Wright? Doubt it. And he might lift the squad a bit and remember some of those Parky set piece routines! He's obviously past his best and limited, but people said that before the last promotion season and he did well. He might add something and I think the ...

Re: Brew Years Day - Burton Albion (H) - 01-01-2020

We really do take defeats badly. Calling for the Managers head. We clearly need to find a magician to manage our team. We had no players. We had no pre season. We miraculously got some players in 48hrs, most of whom were discarded by their clubs and unfit. We had to play with under 18s. We have inj...

Actually just seen Iles suggesting that he won't be back.
If we had anything to play for it would be a blow, instead it leaves space for a loannee that we might be able to keep next season.

Re: Contract expiry

When he got the job over Nobby Nolan, was it not reported that it was because he'd done his homework and research on players and had contacts in place to start signing players? Or were the incomings set up by that richly rewarded agency bloke? If the former you'd expect him to have a long list. Thin...

Just woke up. What the hell is going on? 4-6 loss is my new prediction. Having seen on Saturday how shit our first choice midfield is, I shudder to think how bad it'll be with Weir in it.
