I got hte impression JS wasw desperate to stay at Anfield. Then again, if Rodgers says he's not in his plans I'm sure he'd jump at the chance.

Re: Dougie Freedman - New Manager

Amazed he's pulling the wool over your eyes. None so blind as them what won't see. Lucky in midweek, lucky today. We'll get hammered next week against the manager we should've hired. Facts don't lie, and in the last five games Ipswich have scored a goal. It's BL3s brother !! OK who's behind the fak...

General positivity about the place? training sessions that get the best out of him? His game is based a lot on fitness and there's no doubt that Dougie's more on the ball than Coyle with that.

Re: Biggest game of the season - Brighton @ Home

re. the sending off.. the BBC says: Ashley Barnes shown a red card for foul and abusive language. Sounds about right. That's how I read the situation too. I can't see any other reason for him getting sent off. He didn't want to go either. He had to be pushed off the pitch by one of his team mates w...

Re: Biggest game of the season - Brighton @ Home

Alonso's goal was meant to be a cross in my opinion. He had the ball on the outside of the corner of their box and looked up to drive in a low cross that probably would have gone over the penalty spot, but instead of it swinging across the box it went straight, in front of their keeper and into the...

Re: Why Do people Leave early ??

Acceptable when you've been hammered I think, I never leave when there's still a chance of a point or three. Remember leaving an appalling home thrashing by Coventry early under Todd. Think it was 5-1, not good. Also a home defeat to Wolves at Burnden when Graham Taylor was in charge. Felt treachero...

Re: Biggest game of the season - Brighton @ Home

First game in a while for me, and I'm travelling 4000 miles just to see it ( well perhaps for some other stuff too ). I reckon 2-1, with Stu Holden coming off the bench and scoring the match winner... Always diplomatic to pretend to be interested in seeing family and friends when home for a Wandere...

Re: Tuesday night with Venkys

Ngog or SKD with either Sordell or Cravies. Never SKD and Ngog, so for me that means he only plays when Ngog is injured/banned or needs a rest. Ngog has been in great form and was a real handful for the Blackburn defence, notably a brilliant run down the left channel stopped by a last ditch tackle, ...

Re: Dougie Freedman - New Manager

well, its a razor thin difference, but i reckon its 23 games and 36 points which makes it 1.565blahblah, but i'm not sure i'm counting it correctly. if the avg bares out its 66 at the end. if he'd bin here from the start that's 72. coyle'd have 50-51 at end of season. but imo averages are for chump...

Re: Petrov's bizarre interview

Honestly I think you're all reading way too much into that interview. Didn't come across as arrogant to me, just the fact that moving to Bolton at the time in his career may have been a bad choice. And as for him being not good enough for the Championship, dear me. 90 international caps and arguabl...

Re: Tuesday night with Venkys

I just hope he doesn't rotate Ngog onto the bench. he was out on his feet by the end on Saturday but played very well again tonight. SKD played well tonight but ironically by winning balls in the air that weren't picked up he showed why he doesn't fit in anymore from the start and does hamper the p...

Re: Dougie Freedman - New Manager

What's Dougie's PPG now? teamcoyle got 11 points from ten games. if you can be arsed - you can work it out off that.. i cant remember how many games weve played to do it... plus i carnt remember jimmy pips games. 40 points from 25 - 1.6 36 from 22 as Jimmy had then for 3 games. Still a healthy 1.6 ...

Just seen the goal on SSN, but didn't show the full celebration. If anyone sees it, please post it! I thought he ran to the corner but doing an Adebayor? Amazing. Spearing or N'gog man of the match for me. Also can't believe how how much on an improvement Darren Pratley is. Looked solid at the back...
